Your Opinion Matters Most

If you are too easily influenced by the opinions of others, you will have no DESIRE of your own.

Often throughout life you will have set backs and receive negative comments when working towards your goals.

“You can’t do that”
“No one will even listen to your ideas”
“That’s just stupid!”
“You should give up now before you’re humiliated”

These are just a few of the comments that can be detrimental when working towards creating the life you wish to live. Remember, everyone has an opinion but NO ONE is right or wrong with what they say.

Give no attention to what comments you receive along the way and stay firm to your decisions that you make. The only people you should take advice from are those members of your mastermind group.

Although it can seem hard to ignore the comments of your loved ones and close friends, they are not you and cannot influence your life. Only you can do that – which is why giving their opinions attention and focus is worthless and destructive to your own progress.

Keep your plans and ideas to yourself whilst working with the principles from Think and Grow Rich. Do not disclose your ideas and do not share your goals with anyone.

From a Law of Attraction perspective, not sharing your goals could be weakening your manifestation power. By speaking about your goals and talking about them often you are magnetically attracting them into your experience. However, when you’re surrounded by people who do not support your goals and have in the past shown traits of discouragement then you should keep your goals close to your heart and not share them to those who could influence the way you feel around those goals.

Keep your eyes and ears wide open – and your mouth CLOSED – if you wish to acquire the habit of prompt DECISION.

Napoleon recommends that in order to remind yourself to follow this advice you should copy the following statement and place it in large letters where you will see it daily:

TELL THE WORLD WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO, BUT FIRST SHOW IT

I think this is a brilliant statement and one that we should all remember. By removing your egos thirst for telling people how great its going to be once you’ve achieved your said desires and you begin to move beyond that insignificant way of thinking you will be in a much better place to get on with creating your desires so you can then show them to the world once they’ve been achieved.

Before long your friends and family will notice the change within you and will want to know everything you do so that they can experience a piece of it for themselves. Teaching by example is the best way to teach any subject matter.
