Visualizing For Manifestation Yields NO Results!

3rd May 2008

I’m sure you’ve seen some of the tire kickers out there crying about how the Law of Attraction doesn’t work. Maybe you’re one of them?

Well, I’m not here to convince you of anything. Only you can make and form your own beliefs. But from my own personal experience, I know the Law of Attraction works for me.

Something I learned from our good friends Abraham-Hicks is that if you spend time visualizing your desires in order for them to manifest, almost always they will never materialize.

Why?

The universe hears your vibration. Not your thoughts.

When you visualize the car, the home or more money and have the intention of only doing it because you want it to manifest it… it will almost never happen.

Think of it like this… when you visualize and get into the feeling place of your desire, but the only reason you’re doing it is because you want it to materialize, you’re sending out two different vibrations.

The one vibration is the positive good vibration that is feeling good about the car, home or more money.

The other vibration that is being sent is similar to “I don’t have what I want, so I’ll visualize to get it”.

Can you see how these two vibrations cancel each other out?

It’s like saying “I want some ice cream but there’s no where to buy it from”. So the manifestation never occurs.

Before I fully realized this myself, I had purchased an Anthony Robbins audio program called Rapid Manifestation. It’s a short meditation type audio where Anthony Robins talks you through the process of visualizing what you want and feeling as if it’s already here.

I practised that damn meditation over and over again. I was awesome at it. I would feel so blissful and was totally in alignment with the desire that I had at the time, which was to manifest a certain amount of money to pay back a friend.

But no manifestation happened.

I did that meditation for about 8 weeks, every single day. But no manifestation.

Why? Because I was visualizing and only doing it because I wanted to manifest the money needed to pay my friend back.

When I finally realized that manifestation comes because of your feelings… I started practicing feeling good for no other reason than to feel good. Sure… I could still visualize paying back my friend because that made me feel good, but what was different was I no longer had attachment to the outcome. I let go of it.

Within weeks of realizing this, the manifestation occurred and I abundantly manifested more than enough money to pay my friend back every penny.

This is the hard part! So, what I am understanding from this blog is that before I attempt to manifest anything that I want, I should first start with making myself feel good as often as possible. Then, once I’m really good at feeling good and focusing on only those things that feel good to me, then the things that I want should start coming. I see how this can work because the feeling of wanting something that I do not have is a negative feeling, so once I’m good at only focusing on positive feelings, it will be much easier to visualize something I want and only feel good about it. I probably won’t even have to think about it much. Any other thoughts???

Anything you want IS ALREADY DONE (your money, your relationship etc.) on a vibrational level. IT IS DONE. It manifests only when you feel good. So, do all the things that feel good to you (music, sports etc).
The only reason to think about your desires is to feel good, not to make anything happen … because IT IS DONE. That is really important. Only think and talk about your desires because it feels good and NOT to make anything happen.

Abraham-Hicks say, once it is put out there, IT IS DONE. In the moment you think … I WANT THIS … IT IS DONE. So, relax and feel good.

    Hope that helps.

If I say I want to win the lotto jackpot prize —- is it done? Then I relax and feel good

  4. Mike on May 4th, 2008 4:47 am

Why do you want to win the lotto jackpot? Do you believe it? Do you expect it? Do you really really want it? If you really really want it and you have no resistance … then it is done.

GET BLOG! I loved it! Everything you said makes so much sense. If we don’t absorb it then we cannot manifest it. Thank you for sharing these wonderful comments with us on a daily basis. You are awesome!

Wow! That explains alot! Like you, I’ve been visualizing and believing I have it down pat, feelings and all. But….as you said, I am visualizing in order to get it. And guess what? It’s not there (yet)! Thanks for the great insight. tbea

It’s very true that the world reflects -with some time delay- your feelings, but in order to do that your feeling must be modulated by 2 carrier waves: love (or fear) and
    unattachment for the results.
Ask these questions and if your answer is yes in both then you’re doing it right:
    - Could I say YES 100% to having this goal?
    - Could I say YES 100% to NOT having this goal?

And it’s not possible to change and sustain your feelings if you don’t change your inner speech.
I’ve had incredible results -in less than 24h- only changing my inner speech.
Here some quotes from Neville Goddard’s books:

    - “Success is gained not by imitating the outer actions of the successful but by
right inner actions and inner talking.”

    - “Your inner speech is perpetually written all around you in happenings. Learn
to relate these happenings to your inner speech and you will become self-
    taught.”

    - “An uncritical observation of our inner talking will reveal to us the ideas from
    which we view the world.”

    - “…inasmuch as the state with which we are identified mirrors itself in our
inner speech, then to change the state with which we are fused, we must first
    change our inner talking.”

    - “Stop all of the old mechanical negative inner talking and start a new positive
and constructive inner speech from premises of fulfilled desire.”

    - “Through controlled inner talking from premises of fulfilled desire, seeming
    miracles are performed.”

    - “It’s the inner speech that is frozen in the world round about us. This whole
vast world is but frozen inner speech. What are we saying on the inside?”

    - “If one could only control these inner conversations morning, noon and night,
and carry them right into the dream world, he would know what world he is
    creating.”

    - “This is what I ask every one to observe. Observe what you are actually doing
on the inside, for that is what God sees; and what you are doing on the inside,
you are doing in little tiny speech movements, and they are crystalizing in the
    manifested world round about you.”

    - “Let me, now, make it clear; You have the gift. You can speak. Even if you
were dumb, you still speak - inwardly you speak, and you from these little
speech movements within yourself. Make them conform to your wish
    fulfilled.”

    - “You have speech and you have a mind. Instead of accepting what you have
already done with that gift, you simply ignore it. You brought it into being.
All this is solidified speech - the whole vast manifested world. And you turn
from it and then reconstruct the sentence.”

    - “So, it’s simple on the surface, but in practice it not as simple as it appears to
be. But if man could only take an inner conversation and control it -a
conversation wich implies the fulfillment of his dream- and remain faithful to
that inner conversation; this controlled inner dialogue possibly could be the
most fruitful conversation in your life.”

    - “If I could only now take my objective in this world and dare to assume that
I’ve achieved it, and then carry on conversations -inner conversations- from
the premise of that assumption, I should put this to the test and prove it.
Would it really achieve a change of form in my world? I am telling you from
my own experience, it does. It absolutely does!.”

    - “Since this is based upon Principle, it doesn’t matter what happens in the
world, because the world is simply the outpouring of the conversations of men
and women in the world. If I change my conversation in the midst of a
depression, I am still going to be successful in my world.”

    - “Speech reflects mind, and mind reflects God; that as man, so is God. As is
God, so man. And if God reflects my mind, and my mind reflects my speech,
to change any production in my world, I’ve got to change the speech! So, it is
simply that the mind refects it. And the mind reflects God. So, my God goes
back, then, to my speech! So, I am simply reproducing the same old story in
my world when I could easily change the record.”

    - “Nothing comes into this world by accident, it is produced by some principle;
and the principle is told in this talk tonight, and the principle is simply our
conversations; our little simple inner conversations when we are alone.
Knowing this principle, it doesn’t really matter if appears now to be a lie. I
will assume that things are as I want them to be. Now I will carry on a
conversation based upon that assumption, and that controlled inner
conversation will be possible my greatest success -my greatest conversation
ever- far, far greater than the conversations that we hold at a dinner party.”

    - “Your little mental conversations are the producers of your future.”

    - “The state in which you rest is causing you to listen to silent and invisible
conversations. Although the words are heard by you and you alone, they act
as magnets and draw to you the circumstances of your life.”

At times I have felt almost amused to follow some of my friends’ lives. Many have been raving about the law of attraction, but results are yet to materialize.

It seems that people who take the book seriously, are too fixated in following it. More effort should be placed on actual doing instead of visualizing, manifesting, meditating, wishing, pondering (well, whole punch of related stuff anyway)…

Gary has a terrific theme here in his blog - feeling good. If we feel good in anything we do, we yield much greater results than doing those things feeling bad.

Feel good - dream high - work low (I mean humble) - life will notice you.
