Personal Development Partners

14th January 2008

In my last post, How To Form A MasterMind Group I listed several social networking sites that can help you get started with finding the right people for your master mind alliance.

Today, Aaron Potts, the owner of Personal Development Partners is celebrating his birthday! As a thank you to Aaron for creating such a great site and to celebrate his birthday, I’ve decided to do a review of his site Personal Development Partners (PDP).

Although PDP is a discussion board, it is far more than your usual discussion board. There are multiple member levels that one can join for nominal fees. The member levels are; Senior Thought Leader, Junior Thought Leader & Premium Member. Each level has its own perks.

By becoming a Senior Thought Leader you get the most perks and even have the option of a discounted membership. Although you may think that the Premium Member level may not receive an awful lot for the membership, quite the opposite is the case.

All paying members (regardless of what class you are) get unlimited access to Aaron’s Electronic Downloads section which on its own is worth thousands of dollars. There you will find ebooks, audios and videos that have been donated by the Senior Thought Leaders of the site. Personally I have donated my Manifestation Mastery eCourse that currently sells for $24, however this is only scratching on the surface… as I write this message there is already 18 high-quality products awaiting your free download.

As a member you will receive unlimited access to this section and all of the updates for as long as you remain a member. This section alone is worth way more than your small investment of just over $3 per month to join the site.

Click here for a full listing of all freely available downloads.

As for the actual meat of the website, this will take place in the discussion portion of the site. As mentioned in my previous post, PDP is an excellent website for you to begin forming your master mind alliance. However, I’ve been using to form new like-minded friends who are passionate about the same things as me.

The forum itself can be used for a huge variety of discussion topics including; new blog posts, book reviews, law of attraction and creation, business development, entrepreneurship, health & fitness, social bookmarking, buying and selling services and goods, jobs available, etc. The list is endless and I encourage you to head over to the site to see the full listing of topics available for discussion.

If you’re a website owner or if you run a blog of your own then the advantages of becoming a Senior Thought Leader really do begin to stand out. Aaron has setup a section of the site that is specifically for listing all Senior Thought Leaders website RSS feeds. Now if you’re not too familiar with RSS feeds, don’t worry as you don’t need to know what they do, but suffice it to say, Aaron will be able to list the contents of your websites blog or site RSS feed and pull the content into PDP.

What are the benefits of this? Well for starters all of your content is seen by more people and more discussion will take place on your material. But in addition to that, Aaron will also put a link to your website on the navigation bar of PDP. This means that your website is now listed on every single page of PDP.

As the site grows even bigger, this link back to the website of your choice is going to play a really big part in helping your website get picked up by the search engines and placed in a higher ranking when people search for sites like yours.

Overall, if you’re a website owner in the personal development niche then it’s an absolute no-brainer to sign up to Personal Development Partners.

Even if you don’t have a website but you’re looking to build up relationships with other like-minded people then becoming a Junior Thought Leader or Premium Member would also be a very good investment. The products alone are worth heaps more than any monetary investment you have to make to join the site and having access to Senior Thought Leaders and other members of the site is such a whopping bonus that again I believe is a no-brainer decision.

I envision PDP could become the go-to place for anything personal development in the very near future. Now is a great time to join as the site is in its growth stages and you’ll be right at the forefront of its development.

Soon I feel this site could be used as a great hang-out for individuals to form successful business deals, share information about what’s working for people and what’s not and even become a portal where members can go to earn money by completing work that’s posted in the Jobs Available section.

The possibilities are huge. I think Aaron’s ideas for the site are excellent and like Aaron’s other sites, this one will become just as successful as all of his other ventures.

Like anything in life, you should follow your gut instincts. For some people, this site won’t be right for them at this moment in time, but for others this sort of a discussion board is exactly what they’ve been searching for.

I’ll see you on the forums. My username is “Gary Evans”.
