No Arms, No Legs, No Worries

1st May 2008

I was recently sent an email about Nick Vujcic and an inspirational talk he has given that’s been posted on YouTube. You may have heard of him before… he’s quite remarkable. He’s overcome many adversities in his life, and at 23 years old, he states that he is happy he has no arms or legs because he can provide hope for those in need.

Here’s the 3-part video of him giving an inspirational talk…

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

“If you find one positive thing about your life that no one can argue with, then hang on to that and go from there.”

    Hey Gary,

Recently I had the pleasure of watching two DVD’s about Nick, what a remarkable person and such an awesome sense of humour. This is one person that can make us sometimes feel ashamed of how we can complain over the petty stuff. I look at him and I become more grateful for what I have and can do…

    Hi Gary,

If that does not put things into perspective I don’t know what will.

    Gratitude is vital for sure.

    Hi Meredith,

Yes - I agree completely. Watching him really makes us realize that our problems are tiny in comparison.

A very inspirational man indeed! I’m looking forward to his book when he writes it.

As I watch nick in the video I can now say that we have a free will to use to our own advantage. There is nothing impossible if we use our mind. Here in my ountry some disabled seems to think that it is the will of God that they are in such a predicament that they dont want to change thier stature thus reducing them to mendicancy.

Thanks so much for posting these videos. I am surprised that I have never heard of Nick. He is very inspirational and has a great story. He also tells it with excellence. Seriously awesome.

    Thanks for your comments!

Nick is a very inspirational guy. I’m sure he will keep doing what he’s doing and we will keep benefiting from his work.
