My Personal Experience With Sex Transmutation

23rd January 2008

The first time I heard about Sex Transmutation was when I was about 19 years old.

Me and a couple of friends are keen golfers and enjoy playing the odd round of golf when the weather permits and when we feel like it. I remember the first time I used the “magic” of sex transmutation was when we were playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf on an Xbox.

In order to take your golf shot on this game you had to repeatedly tap a small button extremely fast to get maximum power. Whilst tapping a very small button repeatedly you’d then use your other hand to bring back the control stick to mimic how far you wanted to swing the club. Then when you’ve pulled back as far as you want you then push forward on the control stick which would then make your character take the shot.

Sounds complicated? You bet! It was a really hard game, especially if you were new to it. Trying to tap a button with one hand and swing with another was no easy challenge, and I think that’s partly why we would love playing it so much.

Being relatively new to this game my shots would always fly left or right, but never down the middle of the fairway. I could get the power to maximum in most occasions but almost every time I would struggle to get an accurate shot.

It was on this game when I first tried to use sex transmutation and with great results. I read a story in Think and Grow Rich about an archer shooting his arrows whilst using sex transmutation to steady his shots. He eventually went on to become one of the best archers in the world and credited his success to using this technique. Well, that’s where I got the idea from. I thought that if he could use it to steady his arms whilst doing his archery, then surely I could use it to make my shots straight in the Tiger Woods golf game.

The results were amazing! Calling a coincidence really wasn’t applicable since I’d very rarely been able to get a swing straight in the first place. But after practicing the sex transmutation process, every single time I would make straight and accurate shots.

The process was simple. I would allow my mind to be filled with images and scenarios when I had previously been “turned on”. Instead of following with those visualizations, I would immediately harness the sex energy I was able to develop by switching my focus from the visualizations to the challenge I had before me.

It works like magic – every time!

The main trick to using it efficiently is to have practiced several scenarios in your mind in which you know you will be able to harness sex energy. Personally I could feel when the energy was beginning to flow through me as my chest would feel alive and a gentle but pleasant burning sensation would come over me.

It was at that point that I knew I had harnessed the energy and could then switch my focus onto what I wanted to achieve.

Give it a go. The next time you need to do something with precision or use creativity, use my process above and see how you get on.

I’d love to hear your stories about how you were able to use sex transmutation successfully as well. Do you have a different way of harnessing the sex energy? Please feel free to share them by clicking on the Comments link below.

    Hello Gary,

A few thoughts - not necessarily well-formulated at the onset of writing, but worth pursuing none-the-less (at least for me).

Congratulations are in order - you have expressed in clear and understandable words an idea that has baffled me (and perhaps many others) for years. When I first read Napoleon Hill’s chapter on The Mystery of Sex Transmutation, I couldn’t quite understand just what it was that he was talking about (this was over 3 decades ago, as I am now 54 years old).

Through the years, and in many subsequent readings, I came to have various different understandings of what he was trying to convey. For most of that time, I figured that what he meant could best be summed up by the somewhat common expression, “quit screwing around and get to work”.

In the past 3 or so years, as I have come to think of many concepts in terms of “the application of energy”, I have realized that the very real energy that we express in the pursuit of sexual gratification can indeed be channeled into other efforts.

However, I have believed that most of the people that are successfully “channeling sexual energy” into other endeavors are doing so without conscious effort - that is to say that they do it without really thinking about it.

You are the first (for me, anyways) to express the concept of Sexual Transmutation in an “easy-to-follow” set of instructions. The idea that one could visualize sexual gratification, and then purposefully harness that energy and put it to work to accomplish some specific goal by changing his/her thoughts is brilliant in its simplicity.

However, I feel compelled to go on to say that “just because it is simple doesn’t mean that it is easy”. I dare to put forth the thought that most people go through life without a clear understanding of the concept of sexual energy - they are led by forces that they don’t quite comprehend and follow what they perceive to be a biological imperative. And of course, in many ways they are right, IT IS A BIOLOGICAL IMPERATIVE to procreate - we produce offspring or we cease to exist as a species. But the concept that we can purposefully do more than follow an imperative, and creatively apply sexual energy to accomplish other goals - well, my guess is that most people never even consider the idea.

Furthermore, even if we do consider the idea, the actual carrying out of the process requires self-control that most do not possess (myself certainly included).

So … the true usefulness of the Mystery (or Mastery) of Sexual Transmutation lies in the development of will power and self control. Of course, it could be said that any accomplishment of magnitude requires will power and self control.

How do we successfully and purposefully develop sufficient will power and self control? Hey, I’m still working on that particular area of the “application of energy”. I would be interested in hearing other’s thoughts regarding this.

    Hi Will,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for your detailed comments!

I agree with your points, I think the majority of people are using this energy without their conscious awareness of it.

I hear very little about this topic indeed, but its obvious the potential power is possesses when applied. For me it came quite naturally and didn’t feel like effort or a strain to get it to flow. That may have something to do with my age (23), I’m not entirely sure.

You raise an excellent point about self control. That is very much a big part about it. From my own personal experience… once the energy has been used creatively the magnitude of the energy dies down and that biological instinct diminishes. That’s not to say that its not still there. I think it’s just been channeled and then returned to its source awaiting the next time to be channeled.

I think it would be very constructive to have a discussion on self-control at some point. Maybe I’ll post about it in the near future. That does seem to be the starting point of harnessing this powerful sex energy.

Thanks for your kind words, Will. Stay in touch!

    Hi Gary….

    Fascinating article!

Seems to me this is all about 2 key points - Focus and Feeling Good…

Which are the absolute elements of LOA!

Sexual satisfaction is probably the highest “feel good” - If one can summon that and then have direct focus on another task — It is bound to be explosive!

If people don’t really get the concept that is called “Sex Transmutation” — They can still summon this power by thinking about something that totally knocks their socks off with pleasure and then focusing on the task at hand….

    Hi Ellie,

Thanks for stopping by! You make some great points…
they tie in nicely with my latest post How To Access Your Sixth Sense which lists the top 10 mind stimuli (top 10 feel goods) as shared by Napoleon Hill.

First of all: Define “will power”, will ya? ;)

In other words: Just what does “will power” mean ?

Is “control” really the appropriate word when it comes to harnessing sexual energy?
Isn’t totally letting go of control and completely trusting in what is.. to be(come).. a more appropriate description of what this is about?

Besides ;) energy doesn’t really ever leave you or become lost (when you realize that all-that-is is indeed one, there is just no way).

How is the proverb again? “Your money wasn’t lost in the stock crash, it’s just that someone else has it now.” ;)

I think I have got a post or two filled with my musings on this topic, but I just can’t bring myself to link them here.. The weather outside is too nice.

    Have a great easter.

I am sorry I didn’t understand this. By transmussion of sexual energy do u mean we stop ejaculating. Or do u mean when we r turned on we focus on our goals and at the point of orgasm affirm our objective. would be nice if u could please email me a reply on this. I am keen to learn.

  8. Gary on May 8th, 2008 4:58 am

    Hi Learning Soul,

This does not mean you stop having sex nor at the point of orgasm you switch your attention.

I wrote an article which gives a clear step-by-step example of how you can use sex energy to achieve greatness. You can read that article here:

I’d also recommend you read the Sex Transmutation chapter in the Think & Grow Rich book.

    Wishing you much success,
    Gary

    Fredrick,
    “Define willpower”,
Your will is your power. Will power is the ability to control your mind and to be able to control your emotions. This translates into action. If your will power is weak, you can strengthen it by using auto suggestion to tap into and retrain the subconscious mind. Will power sometimes turns up in our life as resolve. Resolve can kick start us and willpower is needed to keep the momentum going. Will power is akin to self control. Lack of self control brings more pain and grief than being disempowered. A high sex drive is powerful but when there is a lack of self control, that high sex drive becomes destructive. One who has no self control is an easy victim to some one who has self control. Losing self control to any emotional extreme is like drinking too much alcohol. We become drunk on our emotions and are oblivious to the fact.
It does take a certain amount of will power to take control of your mind and subconscious mind. Start with discipline to develop will power. Discipline can strengthen will power.
    • Discipline yourself to daily feed the SCM with the ingredients that will convert sexual energy into creative and productive energy. You will need -
    • Will power to create and follow a definiteness of purpose.
    • Will power to maintain passion in life.
    • Will power to nurture faith and let go of ego.
    • Will power to let go of lust and see it as it really is.
    • Will power to control your emotions.
    • Will power to detach your primitive instinctual mind from neediness and attach security needs onto your self. Depend on yourself.
    • Remember that willpower is just the crank to start the fly wheel turning. The hardest burst of energy is at the beginning and then when the momentum builds it becomes more effortless. That first burst of energy generated by will power creates excitement and anticipation. To sustain it, you need to feed it (the willpower) with inspiration. Surround your self with what and who inspires you. Create a vision to remain focused. Use tools to feed that vision such as daily reminders, pictures and quotes. Write out your vision and carry it with you on a card in your wallet. Empowerment is making a decision and knowing what you want. It is also letting go of the outcome. Focussing on a path or journey but letting go of expectations.

I think Tiger Woods is the one who needed the skills Sexual Transmutation recently to save his marriage.

He may have mastered it unconsciously to enhnace his success in golf, but we all need to be balanced in all areas of our life.

Maybe his model wife is just another component of what success is meant to look like to a high profile person??

He is human and our urges are so powerful that they can bring a man and his empire to his knees.

Funny to see that Tiger Woods was mentioned in this article, especially as of late. High sex drive can be correlated to success. mR Woods is case and point, Ha.

well it’s true i feel the energy of this marvelous power. When ever i feel nervous, fear of doing something that i really don’t want…i use it.
I close my mind and think about a women that i really like …when your penis is up…time to say stop then face my fear…

    A fasinating topic.
Like Mr. Dugan at the top of this thread, I learned of this principle from Napoleon Hill in my mid-twenties nearly 30 years ago. And, also like Mr. Dugan I could make no sense out of Mr. Hill’s naratives so I was never able to apply the principle with any confidence. There seems to be a simpleness to Gary Evan’s way for transmuting sexual energy that is very compelling and I intend to test it my self.
I have a question, or thought, that I would like others to ponder and comment on if they care. My own life experience tells me that a person’s sexual energy is proportional to their age and their physcial health. Not that older folks can’t conjure up enough to sexual stimulate theirselves, they can, but not as easily or as often as younger folks. So, first, why did Hapolion Hill point out that, in the case of men, people over 40 tend to begin focusing their sexual energy more successfully? Is it possilbe, given the strong year round sex drive of our species, that transmuting this energy is the last thing on any young person’s mind? Second, Hill also claims that having a good relationship with a spouse, or even having a “stimulating” affair with another plays a very important role in the transmuting process?
In my twenties I tried so, so hard to channel my sexual energies with little success. Looking back I would say that it was just too damn strong (for me) to control. Perhaps if I had Mr. Evan’s method, had enough will power and self-control, I would have had better results.
    Just some thought.
