To conclude this chapter on the master mind, I’d like to give you an example of how you can keep your master mind meetings organized and successful. At the bottom of this blog post you will be able to download a PDF sheet that includes 10 master mind principles.
Once you’ve organized your group meeting and have all of your attendees it is best to be very specific with the amount of time the meeting will take. Although the meeting shouldn’t be hurried, you should stick to a designated amount of time for the meeting. This will help to keep everyone focused.
You can begin your master mind meeting by reading a set of principles. Either you can use the principles in the PDF document, or you can create a set of principles that are specific to your group that everyone contributed towards. This would be more powerful as the principles have been created by you and your group.
To start the call, share your “win for the week”. Share a very brief story about something that went well for you. It doesn’t have to be anything spectacular but it’s a great way to begin the call and to get everyone into a good vibration. Keep this short and sweet because focusing on the past isn’t productive time.
Next you should begin to get to the meat and potatoes of the meeting, the “wants and needs”. This is the time when everyone will get a chance to state what they would like support with or what they need in order to progress with their goals.
If you’re lucky enough to be part of a master mind group where all participants of the alliance are working towards the same goal then this is the time when you could be brainstorming together about how you can overcome obstacles or planning how you should attack a chosen goal, or even reporting in on the group’s progress.
Remember, the idea of the group is to support one another. Give as much of yourself as you expect back from others.
The energy in your group must be in harmony with every participant. If something is not right within your group or if there is someone who is not participating then you should take the appropriate steps to deal with the situation. Energy should be everything to your group. If harmony is not there, then the group will very quickly break up by itself, this is why you should be very choosy about who gets to join your group and who doesn’t.
I wish you the best of luck with your master mind group. As promised, here is the PDF document containing 10 master mind guidelines and principles for your group to follow.
