Love Music? Listen To Music That Loves You

13th May 2008

I’m a big believer in that music affects how you feel. I doubt anyone would argue with me on that either… if you listen to Slip Knot then you’re probably not going to be feeling very awakened or have a very high vibration. I believe that is because music helps you align with the vibration of the music.

Dr. Emoto noticed this phenomena when he experimented with the effect of words, ideas and music on water molecules. He and his team stuck written words typed by a word processor onto bottles of distilled water crystals – they left the bottles overnight and the results are simply astounding.

Some scientists claim that the human body is made up of 80% water. Take a look at Dr. Emoto’s results and see how water molecules can change by what they are exposed to…

I believe that the same effects occur with music and sounds, since its all still vibrations but in a different form. These images certainly can give you something to think about.

The next time you feel down in the dumps, instead of going with your inspiration to put on some music thats dreary and that will hold you down in that miserable place, why not stretch yourself and find something that is at the top end of your vibrational range and use it as a way to make yourself feel better.

One of my most favorite artists is Francine Jarry. She has produced a couple of albums based upon the Abraham-Hicks material. You do need to be in a happy place to really appreciate the music, but if you’re feeling good, then I guarantee that her music will help you to feel even better.

I love it, and listen to it a lot!

Yes, Gary, I completely agree with you!!!

Whenever I feel down, and I want to feel better ;), the music I tend to put on is Madonna. After dancing a little in front (or not) of the mirror, nearly every pain disappears.

But it’s amazing how sometimes you feel down and you go for songs like “Everybody Hurts” by REM or Sidnead O’Connor.

Making these options a conscious thing, thanks to your article, can make a huge difference.

    Good vibes,
    Patricia

A few years ago, on live365.com I discovered a radio station that talked about satanism, and played bizarre meditation music. The talk was educational & interesting, but the music felt like something was sucking my energy. Can’t imagine that it was uplifting for anyone.

Hi Patricia - As a musician yourself, I had a feeling you might stop by! :) I love Madonna’s music too!

A little conscious awareness here and there goes a long way in shifting our overall vibration.

Hi Kathy - That’s great that you were able to notice the music was taking your energy. I know some people like that, who literally suck your energy away! Not something I enjoy being exposed to.

    Gary

    Hey, you,

You already know so much about me that I guess you could easily know whether I’ll comment on your article or not beforehand, right? Yeah… that’s because I’m shy and silent.. ha.

Just let me add that I stop by every time you write a new article. I’ve become one of your fans.

While I agree with music affecting your moods and how you feel, I believe that which music does what is subjective.
Most pop music makes me agitated and angry, while there is a lot of heavy (supposedly negative) music that makes me feel better.
Sometimes sad songs bring me peace and alleviate loneliness by letting me know I’m not the only one feeling that way, where a happy song would only annoy and frustrate.
In a nutshell, it’s all relative.
