Free Goal Achievement System
9th May 2008
Would you be interested in a free platform that could hold you accountable for achieving your goals and desires?
Me and a good friend, Aaron Potts (from Today Is That Day), are considering just that!
We’ve been in talks about putting together a website that can hold you accountable to achieve your goals, whilst also allowing you to form your own groups amongst various other things.
It would be similar to the Twitter service that is currently available where you can leave short notes about what you’re getting up to, but the unique difference and main focus of this site would be based upon what you’re manifesting now and how you’re getting on with it.
Aaron has just put up a fantastic writeup over at Personal Development Partners to better explain the idea. Click here now to go and read that post.
Here’s a quick excerpt from that post:
What if you could use a “twitter-like” interface in order to be accountable by making your goals, processes, and ideas public knowledge?
Think along the lines of:
- Putting your goals or things you want to manifest into your life on a public website.
- Building a list of friends/partners who wanted to help keep you on track, as you would do for them.
- Sending a “twit” (a.k.a. a short message - we’ll definitely come up with a better name than that!) every time you meditate, visualize, do your affirmations, etc.
- Getting those same messages from your partners as a reminder for you to do your processes, or as a chance for you to give them a virtual pat on the back for staying on task.
- Keeping notes on your successful manifestations so that others could learn from what you did, and you could also be reminded of what worked and what didn’t.
I do need a favor from you though. I really need your input.
Is this something you would use if it were available?
Are there any certain features you would most like to see?
We are inviting everyone and anyone who is interested in sharing their thoughts to join in the conversation and let yourself be heard.
If you are a PDP member then you can just click the link to head over there and join the discussion. Non-members can also read the post, and they can either sign up at the site for free in order to participate and share their thoughts, or, just drop your ideas as a comment on this blog post.

That’s a very good idea. I would definitely take part in that service.
Hey Gary,
I think this is an awesome idea, but one thing that would worry me is for example if I wrote something I wanted to manifest and it didn’t happen, that would be kind of embarassing after I made it public, I don’t know if others would feel that way as well… But otherwise I really do think its an awesome idea…
Thanks for your feedback, Vi and Meredith!
I hear what you’re saying Meredith. It’s something that others may think too.
Gary
Hey Meredith,
Why bother with things with public embarassment etc.?
After all, isn’t that the core of law of attraction - there is no such thing as “what if xxx doesn’t manifest”?
