Enlightenment
8th November 2007
Have you ever wondered what Enlightenment really is?
Maybe you’ve been seeking it?
Or, perhaps you believe that you will find it in the near future?
To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.
- Buddha
Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment.
- Lao Tzu
I’d love to hear what you think. Would you like to see more of these short videos in the future? Click on the Comments button below and share your views.

Yes Gary, I’d love to see more of these types of videos. The way my mind has been racing from one extreme to the next, your video was a great reminder that I need to spend at least 1 hour per day in silence. Sometimes I simply forget that we are human-beings NOT human-doings.
Being In The Now,
Dean
I certainly would like to see more of these videos. I know there are no coincidences, but I just happened to receive Eckhart Tolle’s book “The Power of Now”. I’m also a photographer, so this video really reached me.
Thanks for free opportunities like this, it’s greatly appreciated!
Jamie
Thank you for your comments!
Dean - I’m really pleased my quick video was able to remind you to spend a little more “me-time”. You’ve actually given me a great idea for a future video - something that you can put on to help you quieten the mind. Thanks!
Jamie - That is a totally brilliant book and I really hope you enjoy it just as much as I have. Its very rare that I find a teacher that can truly inspire me to change something within my life, but the works of Abraham-Hicks and Eckhart Tolle have been able to achieve that feat.
Best of luck with the book, I’m certain its not a “coincidence”. Also, I look forward to creating some more vids for you in the future.
Warmly,
Gary
I’d like to see some more of these videos. They are good reminders of what we are striving for.
Thanks for the all of the hard work.

Thanks for your comments Neil!
Have a great weekend.
Gary
Hi Gary,
Loved the beauty of the photographs and the inspiring words in this video. As a yoga student, I could totally relate to the message. Would love to see more videos — bring them on.
And as a way to give back, this is a book I recently finished that entertained, inspired and enlightened me all at once. It’s called Faces of Sickness by Tai Archbold. It prompted me to take a look at my life in an entirely different way. Hope you enjoy it, and can then pay it forward.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Linda
