Which Side Are You On?

17th September 2008

As you know, whether you want to manifest a cup of coffee or one thousand dollars, the manifestation process will remain constant and unchanging.

Whatever it is that you give the majority of your attention to, will become reality.

So my question to you today is which side of the vibration scale are you on?

Let’s use money as an example. The subject of money is really two subjects. The having and experiencing of money, and the absence and lack of it.

If you give the majority of your attention to the having of money, you will experience more money.

If you give the majority of your attention to the lack of money, you will experience the lack of money.

Which side are you vibrating on? The lack, or the having?

You can tip the balance of your vibrational scale pretty easily too… just give your attention to anything other than the lack of money. It’s your consistent attention to something that you don’t want that keeps it in your experience. If you can lessen your grip just a little bit, and begin to pay attention to the things that bring you more pleasure and more joy, you’ll very quickly see more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

Reflecting On Your Financial Vibration

13th September 2008

Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about money issues from readers of my blog and also from my customers. It’s never pleasant to hear these things from others, as more often than not, I can feel the desperation within their words.

Because I do not want to create money issues in my own life, I do not give these emails a lot of my attention. Instead, I prefer to take a lesson from seeing their own mistakes, and ensuring that I do not make them myself. And of course, I provide what I think is helpful advice.

Every time I receive an email or a phone call from someone in dire straights, it makes me wonder if they actually know what vibration they are putting out to the universe, or whether they do not fully understand universal laws. To me it appears so clear and obvious where they are going wrong…

“Please help! I need to manifest more money NOW. … [INSERT LONG LIST OF PROBLEMS HERE] … It’s not working for me and I don’t know where I’m going wrong!!”

The above is similar to the desperation I’ve been seeing from some people of late.

By answering one simple question, we can clearly see why they are not achieving the money or desires that they’ve been asking for…

Is this person giving their attention to having more money? Or is there attention on the lack of it?

If you give your attention to the lack of it, guess what’s on the way? Less money… more struggle… more unwanted circumstances.

My advice is to stop giving your attention away to the lack of what you want!

A good place to start raising your vibration is to rationalize the situation. Start looking at it from a clearer point of view.

Let’s say that you’re about to lose your home and go bankrupt. Try these thoughts out for size and see if they fit…

I’ve always paid my utility bills on time.
I’m not the first person to ever go bankrupt.
This gives me the opportunity to find a different home.
Many millionaires have declared bankruptcy before.
This situation gives me greater clarity to know what I do want.
My family will be a lot stronger after this.
At least I won’t have any money worries once this is dealt with.
No one goes to jail for missing a payment.

If you’re going through a tricky patch with finance, then look for anything to make you feel better about the subject. And if you still struggle with that, then take your complete and utter attention away from it and give every moment of your attention to something that makes you feel happy.

Case Study of a Manifestation That Won’t Work

13th June 2008

You’ve just finished watching “The Secret” for the fifth time this month… and you’re excited about the Law of Attraction and what you can manifest!

“I’m going to give this stuff a really good go. I’m going to do everything I’ve learnt and practice it for one month straight.” you say.

So off you go and begin making a list of everything you want to manifest. It feels so good making this list that you can barely wait until it all manifests into your experience!

“Why didn’t I know this before?”

You then make the decision that you’re going to visualize your desires as much as possible. You’re going to meditate twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. You’re also going to visualize your desires whilst you’re at the office working.

To help with this, you’ve made a little affirmation … “I’m so happy now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuous basis” … which you’ve written on a small card and put into your purse where you will see it often.

Right now, your vibration is sky high and although you don’t fully understand what a vibration is, you know you’re doing the right things. It just feels right, but you don’t understand why.

So, off you go on your day to day activities.

On day 1, you wake up and do your meditation. It feels good and you’re happy about everything, yet you’ve already notice that you didn’t feel the same as you did last night when you were making your list!

You say to yourself… “It doesn’t matter, I’m going to make this work even if it kills me! I’m going to do everything I know I should be doing to manifest stuff with the Law of Attraction. Millions of people are doing it, and so am I!”

You stick to your decision and do your visualizing whenever you remember to, and also meditate and do another visualization session in the evening.

Day 2 comes around and you’ve already skipped your morning meditation. One of the kids wasn’t feeling well this morning so you didn’t have time to do it. You stick to your visualization and meditation in the evening, but your enthusiasm for all of this has noticeably decreased.

By day 3, you’re asking questions like “so, how long does this stuff take?” … “I’ve been doing it for half a week now, and nothing has shown up. All I wanted to manifest was a few unexpected dollars!”

And as day 4 approaches, you’ve worked yourself into such a downer that you can no longer be bothered with meditation at all. You’ve been talking yourself into this miserable place all day yesterday because you haven’t seen any results yet. You’re not looking at your affirmation card in your purse anymore as its already become background noise. “Normal” life has resumed.

Maybe you’ve been in a similar position before?

Here’s where this manifestation went wrong…

  • Manifesting for the point of manifesting
  • Doing processes that weren’t in alignment with YOU
  • Asking “where’s my stuff?”
  • Giving your attention to unwanted circumstances

Manifesting for the point of manifesting – When you visualize or meditate for the sole intention of manifesting something you want, you’re including two things into your vibration. On the one hand, you’re feeling good about your manifestation and you’re enjoying seeing it in your minds eye (this of course is good), and on the other hand, you’re including the feelings of “I don’t have this yet, but I want to manifest it”.

The solution is very simple and very enjoyable. Visualize not to manifest, but to feel good. Visualize because thinking about your desire makes you feel good and not because you’re going to manifest it!

Doing processes that weren’t in alignment with YOU – Everyone is different… some people don’t enjoy meditating. Some people don’t like affirmations. By paying attention to your feelings, you should be able to determine whether something is right or not for you. When you think about the prospect of meditating every day, does it feel good, or not so good? Maybe you don’t feel anything? If it doesn’t feel good to you, then its not the right thing for you to do.

Maybe making a gratitude diary every morning would be a better process, or even producing a vision board. If you’re a painter, then paint your desires. If you’re a writer, write stories about your desires. Do what turns you on and makes you feel good, that is what will yield your desires.

Asking “where’s my stuff?” - Everyone at some point or another has done this. Me included. Whenever you ask where is your stuff, you immediately put yourself further apart from receiving it since you give your attention to not having it. Thinking about not having it, only creates more not having it.

Giving your attention to unwanted circumstances – When you give your attention to “real life”, you’re going to be giving your attention to things that please you and don’t please you. Your job is to focus your attention as much as possible on the things that do please you. By doing so, you’ll automatically become more aligned with your desires.

Follow your heart and follow your feelings. Make your decisions with your feelings and not with your mind. If it feels good, move towards it. If it feels bad, step away.

The reason I’ve written this case study post is because I’ve thought many of these thoughts before myself. I’ve been in positions where I felt I “needed” manifestations to happen, and they didn’t manifest. I’ve made tons of mistakes too and it took me a long time before I became any good at becoming a deliberate creator.

The above are just a few common problems myself and others have experienced along our journey. Hopefully you can relate to some of them and prevent them from happening again in your own manifestation journey.

The Rich Get Richer…

4th June 2008

The following statements are of course common, but still hold very valid…

The rich spend time with the rich.
The poor spend time with the poor.

The rich get richer.
The poor get poorer.

What label do you fall under?

If you want to be rich, I advise that you spend time associating with people who you want to be like. This was true when I was setting up my Internet business… I started off by associating with people who were in the same position as me, striving to make a profitable business.

Of course, success didn’t come to me until I started associating with people who had already achieved what I wanted to achieve. Success then came flowing to me like a river because I was spending time with the people who I wanted to be like and who I soon became.

This isn’t to say that you need to dump your friends who may be in a similar situation to yourself. Of course you can still have friends, no matter what their vibrational level, but in order to get to where you want to be, you may want to consider making some new friends who have already “been there and done that” and start spending some time with them.

With the help of the Internet, its never been easier to find people who are already living what you want to live. What’s stopping you from doing some research, finding some people who resonate with you and dropping them a friendly email just saying ‘hey’ and sharing your passion and enthusiasm?

Join a newsletter from someone who you resonate with.

Read their blog.

Email them if it feels right.

Ask and it is given.

What Would You Do If You Were Wealthy?

28th May 2008

The title of this blog post is a bit of a trick question, because you are already wealthy regardless of what physical wealth you may have collected.

However, most people interpret wealth to mean money, so let me rephrase the question and ask it to you again…

What would you do if you had an abundance of money?

The answer to that question is what you should be doing right now if you want to receive an abundance of money.

If you want abundance of money for yourself, you need to get into alignment with money. One way in which you can do that is by feeling the abundance as if its already yours.

So, how can you replicate those feelings?
By doing what you would do if you already have an abundance of money!

Maybe you’d take a day off and spend it with your family?

Perhaps you’d go and look at some nice houses or cars?

Or, maybe you’d simply spend some time in a nice coffee shop with others, like yourself, who are wealthy?

Far too many people are truly believing that in order to receive more money, they need to work harder and longer. The opposite is true. To receive more money, you should become more aligned with money, which you can do using many, many different methods – all of which should be fun, beautiful and very enjoyable.

So grab a pen and paper and make the decision that you’re going to be wealthy! Once you’ve figured out what you would be doing if you were in that position, why not day dream about it? Why not go and do the things on your list? Why not feel good for no other reason than to feel good?

Go on! Treat yourself.

Manifesting Money Without Thinking About It

25th May 2008

Is it really possible to manifest money without thinking and focusing on it?

Doesn’t the Law of Attraction hear our thoughts and respond to them?

What we think is what we get, right?

But Mike Dooley said… “Thoughts become things.”

The above might be questions or thoughts you’ve had at one time or another…

To deliberately manifest something means that you must have at some stage put a thought out there about what it is that you want, otherwise you wouldn’t know you’ve deliberately manifested it.

Thoughts do play a part in the deliberate creation process. When you give birth to a new desire, you’re going to be thinking about what it is that you want. The first time this happens is when you send out a message to the universe. Remember though, the universe doesn’t hear your thoughts, it hears your vibration which is dominantly affected by your thoughts and emotions.

The question is, why would you need to keep thinking about your desire?

If the universe has heard your request, and it knows exactly what you want, why do you need to keep repeating the same thoughts over and over again?

Do you not think that the universe has enough space to keep track of what’s going on?

Perhaps the universal hard drive is full up with junk from other people, so it won’t hear my thoughts the first time?

Maybe the universe doesn’t have enough filing cabinets to store your desires too?

The obvious answer is that you don’t need to keep thinking about what you want. Your job is to get into alignment with the things that you want, but not to keep asking for them.

If petting your cat makes you feel good, then you’re going to be moving closer to receiving more money.

If meditating makes you feel good, then you’re going to be moving closer to receiving more money.

If visualizing a scenario in your mind makes you feel good, then you’re going to be moving closer to receiving more money.

The more you get yourself into alignment with your desires, the quicker and more manifestations you’re going to see. The more you deliberately feel good, the better it gets!

On the flip side of the coin…

If you focus on the debt and feel worried about it, then you’re moving away from receiving more money.

If you feel miserable that you’re alone and have not found your soul mate, then you’re moving away from receiving more money.

If you watch the news and feel bad about a murder, then you’re moving away from receiving more money.

Can you see how this works?

Your job is to get yourself into alignment with the things you say you’ve been wanting. You don’t have to think about money to receive more money. You can think about money and receive more money if thinking about it makes you feel good.

Anything you do that makes you feel good, is in alignment with money because money is something you consider to be good and so you’re a match to it.

None of this deliberate manifestation stuff is difficult. Feel good for the purpose of feeling good and watch abundance shower its way into your life.

Seriously!

A Recent Money Manifestation

23rd May 2008

Lately I’ve been writing posts about fulfillment and how I believe it cannot come from material objects. Just recently, I hit a monetary goal which I was quite proud of…

A funny feeling came over me as I noticed I had achieved it, it was a feeling of intense happiness that quickly subsided. Over the course of the weekend as I began checking my income and other stats, without really realizing it, my mind was running through all of the new goals I now wanted to achieve in this new standing position.

The elation of achieving the goal (that I had been working towards for the past couple of months) had already been and gone. I was now focused on what new things I wanted from this new position. Of course, that is the way it works, you achieve something and then form new desires. What really shocked me was the amount of joy I got from achieving this goal… maybe it lasted for a whole minute, perhaps even two? Either way, it was very short lived!

A couple of years ago if someone had of told me that “money wasn’t everything”, I would have listened to them and understood what they were saying from a mental stand point, but I wouldn’t have believed it.

I can remember many times hearing statements similar to that one, but never really taking much notice of it because I had such a firm belief that money would buy me all of the things I wanted and would make me happy and complete.

In my experience, money doesn’t make you happy or complete. It can yield short lived gratification and short lived happiness, but it doesn’t bring me long term happiness nor does it make me complete.

I know for a fact that there will be people here right now reading this blog post and will dismiss the message as valid. They will understand the words but will not understand what message is really being conveyed here, and that is perfectly okay. The only way you’ll ever truly understand this is by experiencing it yourself.

Some people spend years and years manifesting stuff that they want. It can take some people a decade or more before they realize that they are not being fulfilled by their manifestations. Other people are quicker to realize this.

I remember the first time I deliberately manifested money, it was a great occasion, but it also was a big wake up call. It was at that moment that I discovered that money wasn’t what I wanted after all. The speed in which I was deflated by it was incredible and that experience will remain with me forever… it gave me the clarity to discover what I did want and for that I am truly grateful.

This post isn’t intended to be an “anti-money” post. Money can be great, and I recommend that everyone goes out there and manifests some! It can buy some wonderful experiences. Just remember that money isn’t the ultimate achievement on this planet, and it will never truly fulfill you.

Don’t take my word for it though, go out and experience it. That’s the only way you’ll truly know it for yourself.

One Dollar Christmas Frenzy

20th December 2007

There’s something very magical about Christmas and I can never quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but around this time of year I not only feel very grateful for everything I have but I feel more inspired to give than usual.

Perhaps its because every year we’re conditioned into giving gifts?

Or maybe its the Christmas energy that people around me emit?

Whatever the reason - I’m glad I’ve got this warm feeling inside and I hope you have it too! In the spirit of Christmas I always like to do something a little crazy… and this year is no different.

I’m currently running a Christmas Special Offer that is just for my loyal readers of this blog and subscribers of my free e-course.

One of my eBooks, How to… Manifest a Miracle was written earlier in 2007 when I had an unstoppable passion to write down the exact methodology I used to transcend the lack mentality that had plagued me for so many years. It’s the first eBook I ever wrote on using the Law of Attraction and it won’t be my last!

As a Christmas Special Offer I’m practically giving away copies of the eBook by putting it on the site for just $1! But there is a catch… Every time someone purchases a copy of the eBook the price increases by twenty cents.

So if you’re the first person to get it, congratulations! You’ve got my eBook for just one dollar. But that means the next person will get it for $1.20 (still an absolute bargain!) and so on and so forth.

So if you like a real bargain then head over to the link below and pick up your copy of How to… Manifest a Miracle today! But hurry, every second that you wait could mean that you will be paying more for this profound wisdom.

Wealth In Abundance For Dreamers

5th November 2007

The Law of Attraction will allow you to manifest anything you desire. The key to this is the power of your intention and the emotional energy that you infuse your intention with. You want freedom from stress. You want freedom from work. You want freedom from the rat race. And yet here you sit, attempting to manifest money. Something is wrong with this equation.

You desire freedom of your time. You desire the ability to have what you want. You desire the ability to do what you want. You desire your dream house. You desire your favorite car. You desire a loving, attractive mate. You desire the ability to travel wherever you want, whenever you want. You desire a plasma TV. You desire the very best things for yourself, your family, your kids. Where in any of the above did I say anything about money? Money is the means to acquire the above desires, but it is not any of the desires themselves. In short, to attempt to attract money is to miss the point of the Law of Attraction altogether.

In life, we have been taught to think logically. If you want to go from your home to the beach, you have to plan for the car ride. You must go from point A to point C via point B. This logical, everyday attitude causes some issues when it comes to using the Law of Attraction. You don’t need to worry about point B with the Law of Attraction. You always want to focus on the end point. The end point is your true desire, and that is where your emotional energy is bottled. You won’t have great success with point B because you aren’t that interested in point B. In the case of our discussion, point B can be considered money, and point C as your freedom of time and freedom from financial worries.

It’s difficult to adapt our way of thinking for the Law of Attraction. A homeless person can attract their dream car. A poor person can attract a mansion. You can go from where you are to where you want to be without all of the trouble of mapping a course. In fact, if you attempt to do the universe’s job, that being the “HOW” of going from where you are to where you want to be, you will end up causing yourself a lot of trouble. Your manifestation will take forever or not even occur. That’s why it is so important to get straight on your desire first, focus on it, and forget about the means. The means are the Law of Attraction’s problem – the ends are your only concern.

Your visualizations and daydreams are basically putting you in an inner experience of having what you desire. You are there, it is happening, it has already become real to you. The universe can’t tell the difference between “real” and “imaginary” – what you’re doing right then with your thoughts and emotions are real to the universe either way. The universe matches your thoughts and emotions. Therefore if you have put a lot of energy into your visualizations of having your desires, the universe must bend reality to conform to your vision.

The Law of Attraction is all about the energy that we have, use, and in fact are. Everything in the universe is vibrant, vibrating energy. The law of energy is that like attracts like.

So stop focusing on the “how-to’s” and focus more on your desires!
