The “Allow And Let Go” Process
26th January 2009
One of our readers posted a great question in response to my Law of Attraction Report. After reading her question and re-reading it again, I realized that this is such an important point and so I’m making this post a response to her question so that everyone gets the benefit.
Here’s what Claire originally wrote…
I have read your report and I must say, I have practiced some of the things you’ve said and it has worked, but to get the ‘bigger’ things there are still some things I am uncertain about, for example, Im a very anxious person and even though I do practice feeling good and having good thoughts, I would like to know, once you’ve established to the universe what it is you want, what happens next? Do you continue with everyday things and not think about it? Or do you think about it and feel good? There are alot of things on my plate at the moment. I had a very bad year and I want to live the life I always dreamed would be impossible. Relationship, Travel, Debt and that dream Career. I have manifested something before but Im not sure how I did it. When I at least expected, it happened!! So does one have ask, allow and then forget and carry on? Im a bit confused with the ‘allow and let go ‘ process.
So let’s dig in!
What to do after confirming your desire. First of all, you should take notice of your feelings that you receive when you think about your desire. If the desire is for more money, then you may find that when you think about more money, your thoughts immediately switch to not having money and so you feel bad.
If this is the case, then thinking about your desire over and over again is not the right thing for you to do! Maintaining positive, feel good vibrations is what your work is.
On the other hand, if thinking about your desire makes you feel excited and elated, then it is a wonderful thing to think about! Those good feeling vibrations are bringing you closer and closer to your desire. It is worth noting though… you do not HAVE to think about your desire for it to manifest. Thinking about your desire is only helpful if thinking about it makes you feel great!
I recommend that you take all of this a little easier and don’t force yourself to think about your desire every chance you get. By doing that, you may be sending a vibration of “I really want my desire, so I’m going to think about it as much as possible!”. This vibration could hinder your manifestation. Instead, relax about it. Know that what you want is on its way and take the good feelings you get from thinking about your desire whenever you naturally happen to think about it.
If you meditate every day, you may like to use those meditation sessions as the time and space when you think and feel your desire. It’s not necessary to think about your desire every day, but if it feels good to you and you enjoy doing it - then do it!
Great things happen when you least expect it. Quite often, manifestations will occur when you’ve not been thinking about the desire for some time. This is because you are releasing the resistance you had that was keeping you away from having it. When you stop practicing thoughts that hold you away from your desire, the desire can then manifest.
The ONLY thing that keeps you from having what you want is thoughts and vibrations that are opposite to what you want. It is that continued attention.
Your work is to release and let go. Lighten up. Don’t take this so seriously. Think about your desire if it feels good to do so. Change your thinking so that you don’t continue to give power and attention to what you don’t want. Live a life worth living.

Which Side Are You On?
17th September 2008
As you know, whether you want to manifest a cup of coffee or one thousand dollars, the manifestation process will remain constant and unchanging.
Whatever it is that you give the majority of your attention to, will become reality.
So my question to you today is which side of the vibration scale are you on?
Let’s use money as an example. The subject of money is really two subjects. The having and experiencing of money, and the absence and lack of it.
If you give the majority of your attention to the having of money, you will experience more money.
If you give the majority of your attention to the lack of money, you will experience the lack of money.
Which side are you vibrating on? The lack, or the having?
You can tip the balance of your vibrational scale pretty easily too… just give your attention to anything other than the lack of money. It’s your consistent attention to something that you don’t want that keeps it in your experience. If you can lessen your grip just a little bit, and begin to pay attention to the things that bring you more pleasure and more joy, you’ll very quickly see more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

Creating A Beautiful Existence
8th September 2008
As most of you know, I’ve left England and have moved to Costa Rica for at least the next 3 months. I’ve got some photos of my new home for you posted below. I’m really enjoying my time out here, and have just jumped off my hammock to write this blog post for you.
Before we get to the pics, I want to point out to you how ordinary I consider myself to be. All through my life I’ve considered myself to be no great achiever and always achieving the middle result in anything I give my attention to. Sure, there are some things that I excel at, for example I really enjoying working with computers and so I have taught myself the ins and outs with them.
The reason I mention this is because I remember several years ago (when I was first getting into the Law of Attraction), many of the teachers I was paying attention to would also state that they have no magical powers and are nothing special. They just understood universal laws.
At the time, I didn’t believe them. I felt that they had some gift that enabled them to live the life of their dreams.
A few years on and now I am deliberately designing the life I want to live. I tell you this not to brag, but to point out that you are special and you have the same gift that every single Law of Attraction teacher has too. You really can be, do and have anything you want!
After living the contrast of a day job, I decided I wanted to work for myself, doing the hours and work that I enjoy doing. I am now living that experience and have my own Internet business.
After realizing that all of my friends had no similar interests to me any more, I desired some new friends who have the same interests as me. I now have several very good friends who all share the same interests and whom are very supportive. I am very grateful for each and every one of them.
After experiencing the contrast of my old environment back in England, I decided that I wanted to live in a warmer climate with lots of peace and quiet. I am now living that experience out here in beautiful and peaceful Costa Rica.
And so, how did I do it?
I gave only what I wanted my attention. I felt good feelings about those things that I wanted to experience and ensured I felt good as much of the day as possible.
As simple as it may sound, that is all there is to it. Raise your vibration and maintain it. Life will hand over anything you ask of it.

Joy of the Journey
20th August 2008

Struggle can never lead to a happy ending. Feeling excited and happy when making decisions will always lead you down the easiest path.
The journey is where you will find the joy of your desire, not in the acquisition or materialization of the desire itself.
Try it and see for yourself. The excitement from living a desire, is very short lived. However the journey in which you take to get there can be so delicious.
More often than not, we’re told stories of hardship and how struggling hard is how success is attained. If you examine closer all of those people who have achieved something that they set their minds too, you’ll quickly see that in the most part, the journey they took was fun, exciting and brought them more joy - it wasn’t hard at all.
The truth is, those who struggle and strain aren’t achieving what they want. It is energetically impossible. The more struggle and strain, the more they create what they don’t want.
For many years, I struggled trying to earn more money and trying to live a better life. All of that struggle and hardship got me into a worse off position. Without my deliberate intent, I was creating more of what I didn’t want every time I found myself struggling to lead a more fulfilled life.
What I’ve come to realize is that living a life where things that I want to show up is no more difficult than breathing. As we breath air, there is no resistance to where the air is coming from or whether there is enough of it for everyone.
With our breathing we simply allow whatever air there is to flow in and out of our lungs without a second thought. Creating with deliberate intent is much the same… when you allow without worry or fear, what you want shows up. Period.
I’ve been deliberately designing my own joyous life now for the past 4 or 5 years. There’s been some ups and some downs, but the more I practice deliberate creation, the easier it becomes.
I now run my own successful Internet based business that allows me to live wherever I please. I’m moving to beautiful Costa Rica next week and have never felt so much joy in all of my life. The journey I’ve been on to create these things is simply wonderful and has been nothing short of a joyous journey.
I wish the same for you. Keep your ideal in mind, and allow it into your experience by feeling good. It is that simple.

Napoleon Hill’s Hidden Secret Revealed
13th August 2008
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while now, then you probably know that I did a Think & Grow Rich study on this blog last year and posted up my thoughts on each chapter.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, have a gander over at the right-hand side bar and look for where it says “Think and Grow Rich Study”.
Recently I’ve connected with a fellow Brit, Gary Vurnum, and he’s produced an excellent free report on what the “secret” actually is that was never written in Think and Grow Rich. I found it most interesting and I think you may do too. (Especially if you’re a Napoleon Hill fan!)
“IN EVERY chapter of this book, mention has been made of the money-making secret which has made fortunes for more than five hundred exceedingly wealthy men whom I have carefully analyzed over a long period of years.”
“The secret to which I refer has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred times, throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where THOSE WHO ARE READY, and SEARCHING FOR IT, may pick it up. That is why Mr. Carnegie tossed it to me so quietly, without giving me its specific name.
If you are READY to put it to use, you will recognize this secret at least once in every chapter. I wish I might feel privileged to tell you how you will know if you are ready, but that would deprive you of much of the benefit you will receive when you make the discovery in your own way.”
- Want to know what this secret is?
- Think you know it, but you want validation?

Feelings of Resentment
23rd July 2008
When I was first starting up my own Internet business, I would often come across posts in Internet marketing forums about how well people were doing.
It is common to see people posting about their “first $100 day” and “first $2,000 month” etc.
At the time I was reading these posts, I could feel a lot of resentment within me. I was feeling uncomfortable because they were achieving something I wanted.
Sometimes I would post up short notes like “Congratulations… keep up the great work!” when inside I actually felt like saying “Who cares!! Big WooptyDoo!”
Even after I had achieved my own first $100 day, when I read posts of other people doing it, I would still feel the same resentment and jealousy.
The truth of the matter is that if you’re feeling resentment, or feeling miserable about someone else’s success that you would like to have yourself, then you’re not a vibrational match to your desire and therefore you’re moving further away from achieving it.
I spend very little time on forums these days, however yesterday when I had some spare time to myself, I was browsing one of the marketing forums and ran into a “first $100 day” post. What I noticed was completely different to my usual offering… instead of feeling resentment for their achievement, I was genuinely happy for them that they are on their way to succeeding in their goals.
I’ve noticed this happening in other areas too and not just money related. I see it as a sign that I’ve shifted and my mentality has changed.
Being genuinely happy for someone cannot be faked. You cannot feel miserable about someone’s achievement, and then offer some positive words like “Congratulations!” and really mean it. Your vibration never lies - your vibration is what tells the truth about how you feel, even if your words don’t.
This change in attitude hasn’t been quick, but it can be done with just a little effort. Here’s some suggestions as to why I think I’ve managed to change from a lack mindset to one of abundance…
Beliefs - A belief is just a chronic thought that you’ve been thinking over and over. Changing your beliefs is as easy as changing your thoughts. Spending time being around successful people has helped me to change my own thoughts on what I think is possible and has helped me shift from a lack mindset into a positive one.
Raised Vibration - As I unveil in my Manifest a Miracle system, I have a daily routine to help me stay in a positive frame of mind which makes me feel good. When I feel good, my vibration is raised and therefore I attract more of the good stuff that I want in life.
Attention To What I Want - Instead of pushing against things that I don’t want, I allow them to be and turn my attention to what I do want to experience in life. This always reaps me positive results and yields me more of what I want. I no longer read newspapers or watch the news on television. These two acts have helped me massively to experience more abundance.
I encourage you to be honest with yourself and observe your feelings within yourself when someone achieves something you want.
How do you feel when a friend of family member…
- Gets a better job or promotion?
- Makes more money than you?
- Loses 10 pounds of weight?
- Achieves a long-term goal?
You can practice being honest with yourself right now by observing how you feel when you read about someone else’s success. A good friend of mine, Aaron Potts from Today is that Day, made a post about one of his successes with moving next to the beach to start up his own health business.
His story is wonderful and he also shares a lot of great information about how he achieved it. You can read his story by clicking here.
Head over there and observe your reaction when you read about his success. Are you genuinely happy for him, or is there something in the back of your mind feeling resentment? Know that if resentment does come up, then you’re moving further away from achieving your goals.
I can honestly say that I am truly happy for Aaron and wish him all of the very best with his new adventure in Florida!

My Costa Rica Manifestation
11th July 2008

Some of you may recall that I mentioned I’m going to be living out in Costa Rica for 3 months starting at the end of August. I thought I’d share with you all how this manifestation has came to be, and what the key points were in creating it.
First of all, I’m moving out there because I fell in love with the country last year when I visited for a week. Just one very short week of living in paradise has made me want to experience it more permanently.
For the past 24 years, I’ve lived in a busy town in the south of England. Whilst being around the night-life, congestion and hectic lifestyles has been fun, I feel an impulse to live somewhere a little more relaxed and a little less hectic, which is why Costa Rica is the perfect choice for me.
I first came up with the idea at the beginning of the year when I realized that there was nothing keeping me here. I’ve been working online for several years now and it only dawned upon me this year that I am fully established and will never have a need for a corporate job ever again. The freedom that the Internet provides is that you can do what you currently do from anywhere with an Internet connection.
I’ve experienced a lot of unwanted contrast over the past couple of years related to where I live. For example… the continuous stream of traffic I hear every day is something unwanted. Whilst I can make peace with whatever life throws at me, it is no longer my desire to live a busy city lifestyle with non-stop action.
From living the contrast, my desire was born.
Before I could make this move, there were a few obstacles standing in my way. Here’s what I saw them as…
- I only know a couple of people in Costa Rica
- Require money for plane ticket
- Require money to “settle in” and adjust
- Require an apartment to rent
- Require a driver to help with language barrier, local knowledge and travel
Some of these aren’t too troublesome, whereas others are a little more tricky.
From my own previous experience, finding the right people to help me was going to be absolutely crucial. Thankfully, we have our own internal guidance systems (our emotions!) letting us know whether something is going to bring us more joy or not.
As I began contacting those people I know from Costa Rica, I could immediately feel that if I relied upon them to help me, it wouldn’t bring me as much joy as if I were to do it myself. I often get a “feel good” from doing things on my own… it’s like “I created that!” and so I can give myself a pat on the back.
Instead of relying upon my friend’s connections, I went looking for my own. After about 30 minutes of Google searching, I had found some email addresses of drivers who seemed suitable to help me make this move and help me find an apartment.
The first person who got back to me ‘felt’ absolutely awesome! As I received his email reply, I was in the middle of making some notes on a project I’m working on, and I specifically made a point of writing down “This guy FEELS good!” to ensure that I remembered how my initial gut feeling felt.
That first initial contact is very important when making your decision. It’s not the words he used, or what he said in his email. It was purely the feeling that I received after reading his email that I used to guage whether he was the right person or not.
After reading a few more replies from other drivers, I knew that the first guy was “the one”.
So… that’s my driver sorted! In my eye’s that was the hardest part out of the way.
For a while now, I’ve been forming beliefs that the plane ticket money and other money needed would come quite effortlessly. And I was right! I created it that way.
I found that friends who owed me money for past work that I had forgotten about, showed up and paid it back in full. Additional business was landing on my lap and my sales seemed to increase naturally by themselves.
Within about 8 weeks, I had fully saved for my plane ticket and had some extras too.
Whilst I was saving for my plane ticket, I went out and did some ticket price lookups to find the best deal. I noticed that the best deal actually came from the airlines themselves, and the best price I found on the web was £504. That’s an incredible price to get to Costa Rica from England, believe me! Last time I traveled there it was £640.
Everything was looking good… cheap tickets were available, and money was flowing in nicely.
Once I had finally saved up enough for my plane ticket, I went back to the same place to buy the £504 ticket. To my dismay, the prices had shot up to £600! So I tried all of the other airlines again to find the best price. Unfortunately, this was the best price, and by the time I had done all of that searching, I came back to the original airline with the cheapest ticket and now within 24 hours the price had gone up again! The cheapest ticket was now £614.
At this point, I was getting a little worried and being quite indecisive about what I should do.
As someone who practices the Law of Attraction and feeling good, this wasn’t an experience I wanted to go through. I quickly got my thoughts together again and decided that I was going to find a £500 ticket no matter what.
I know first hand that I could attract a cheap ticket, and simply used this situation as an excuse to do it.
The very next day as I was browsing the airlines and price checkers, I ran into one of the price checker sites that I had previously been to, but noticed that if I changed my dates slightly, they offered different 2 stop deals.
It wasn’t highlighted at all, in fact you had to click on a + symbol to get the additional offers to display. It was like the company was hiding them from you and didn’t really want you to see them.
Anyway, I found a ticket price from this site which worked out to be almost exactly £500. It’s a ticket that uses two airlines which is why the price is so competitive. It just goes to show that when you really put your mind to something, and are determined to achieve it, you will. The universe will align it up for you.
So, now I’m in a position where I’ve got my plane ticket all sorted. I’ve got a friendly driver who “feels good” and is going to help me find an apartment when I arrive and I also have some extra money to help me with the transition process.
It’s exactly what I wanted!
All of the above events haven’t surprised me one little bit. I expected most of them to happen. The more you practice becoming a deliberate creator, the more delicious experiences you’ll come to expect too.
I’m traveling towards the end of August and am super excited about this new chapter in my life.

One Year Anniversary
3rd July 2008
On the 3rd of July 2007, I made the decision to setup this blog with the intention that I would share my own experiences with the Law of Attraction. I made a commitment to myself that I would post regularly… I’d seen way too many blogs die after just a few posts and I didn’t want that to happen to me.
One year later and I’m still here! Still blogging away!
I want to send a sincere thank you to all of you who read this blog. Without your continuous input and feedback, I’m certain that I wouldn’t still be here now.
It’s your continuous input and comments that give me the fuel to keep writing. Knowing that some of you enjoy what I write or find it of benefit gives me incredible joy and is the main reason that I continue to post regularly.
Over the last year we’ve had quite a bit of interaction with each other…
- 167 blog posts
- 3,904 spam comments
- Over 118,555 unique visits
- Over 283,822 page views
I for one have enjoyed every minute of it!
To celebrate this anniversary, I had a long look through the archives and have listed all of my favorite blog posts from the past year. They are all listed below.
Again, thank you so much for being a part of this blog!
There is much love here for you

3 Ways To Detach From An Outcome
19th June 2008

Removing your attachment to your desires is crucial to you achieving them. I’m not perfect and have had quite a bit of difficulty in letting go of some of my money related desires.
For example… As an online business owner, I’ve found that I can get way to attached to the amount of online sales I make every day. If sales are low, then I find myself feeling miserable and down about it. And equally, when sales are up, I feel happier about things. This is a perfect example of being too attached to the outcome of a desire.
Having that strong attachment is actually hindering my desire to create more sales, since I’m unable to release the need. Needing only creates more needing. Releasing it and letting it go leaves your vibration pure and positive, allowing your desires to flow freely to you.
The more I practice releasing, the more I’m getting better with detaching from my the outcome of my desires. Here are three ways that I’ve found to be helpful in letting go…
Change Your Focus – This sounds really simple, but it really works very well! When you take your attention away from your desires and put your attention on to something that pleases you, your vibration is going to immediately rise upwards. The best method I’ve found of changing your focus is to play a game where you find a thought that feels better.
Starting from whatever you may be feeling, make it your intention to find thoughts that make you feel better. It can be about your desire, or it can be about anything else. As long as you reach for thoughts that make you feel better, that’s the trick to this game.
In my DVD, Remaining Positive When Bad Stuff Happens, I talk you through this process of finding a thought that feels better by giving you a case study example.
Feel Good – If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time, then you should by now realize that I emphasize a lot on feeling good. Why? Because feeling good is glorious! When you feel good, good things are attracted to you. It is that simple.
When you feel good, the attachment to the desire softens up and allows you to move your attention elsewhere. That’s exactly what you want if you find yourself clinging onto your desire with both hands.
Lighten up a little and feel good for the purpose of feeling good. Go and meditate or take a walk in the woods. Read a good book if that makes you feel good. Do anything you can to feel good.
Feeling good is what my Manifest a Miracle system is all about. If you’re looking for a solution that can consistently help you to feel good and manifest your hearts desires, then you may like to have a look at what Manifest a Miracle can offer you. I’ve included 11 feel good processes so no matter where you are or what you’re doing, there will be a process that you can do to make you feel good, now.
Become Present – Becoming present should actually be described as a feel good processes, yet I’ve made it separate because it is quite different to the feel good processes that I talk about. Becoming present isn’t something I can describe in words, you have to experience it to know it.
When you become present and take your attention away from your thoughts, your vibration instantly increases and of course, your attention is no longer on your desires. Anyone can become present in any moment they choose. Most of us are so identified with thoughts that we never realize the power that the present moment can hold.
If you want to learn more about becoming present, you can signup for my newsletter Stillness Within.
So there you have it! Three ways that you can use right now to remove your attention from your desires, so that your vibration increases and allows the desire to materialize into your physical life.

Case Study of a Manifestation That Won’t Work
13th June 2008
You’ve just finished watching “The Secret” for the fifth time this month… and you’re excited about the Law of Attraction and what you can manifest!
“I’m going to give this stuff a really good go. I’m going to do everything I’ve learnt and practice it for one month straight.” you say.
So off you go and begin making a list of everything you want to manifest. It feels so good making this list that you can barely wait until it all manifests into your experience!
“Why didn’t I know this before?”
You then make the decision that you’re going to visualize your desires as much as possible. You’re going to meditate twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. You’re also going to visualize your desires whilst you’re at the office working.
To help with this, you’ve made a little affirmation … “I’m so happy now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuous basis” … which you’ve written on a small card and put into your purse where you will see it often.
Right now, your vibration is sky high and although you don’t fully understand what a vibration is, you know you’re doing the right things. It just feels right, but you don’t understand why.
So, off you go on your day to day activities.
On day 1, you wake up and do your meditation. It feels good and you’re happy about everything, yet you’ve already notice that you didn’t feel the same as you did last night when you were making your list!
You say to yourself… “It doesn’t matter, I’m going to make this work even if it kills me! I’m going to do everything I know I should be doing to manifest stuff with the Law of Attraction. Millions of people are doing it, and so am I!”
You stick to your decision and do your visualizing whenever you remember to, and also meditate and do another visualization session in the evening.
Day 2 comes around and you’ve already skipped your morning meditation. One of the kids wasn’t feeling well this morning so you didn’t have time to do it. You stick to your visualization and meditation in the evening, but your enthusiasm for all of this has noticeably decreased.
By day 3, you’re asking questions like “so, how long does this stuff take?” … “I’ve been doing it for half a week now, and nothing has shown up. All I wanted to manifest was a few unexpected dollars!”
And as day 4 approaches, you’ve worked yourself into such a downer that you can no longer be bothered with meditation at all. You’ve been talking yourself into this miserable place all day yesterday because you haven’t seen any results yet. You’re not looking at your affirmation card in your purse anymore as its already become background noise. “Normal” life has resumed.

Maybe you’ve been in a similar position before?
Here’s where this manifestation went wrong…
- Manifesting for the point of manifesting
- Doing processes that weren’t in alignment with YOU
- Asking “where’s my stuff?”
- Giving your attention to unwanted circumstances
Manifesting for the point of manifesting – When you visualize or meditate for the sole intention of manifesting something you want, you’re including two things into your vibration. On the one hand, you’re feeling good about your manifestation and you’re enjoying seeing it in your minds eye (this of course is good), and on the other hand, you’re including the feelings of “I don’t have this yet, but I want to manifest it”.
The solution is very simple and very enjoyable. Visualize not to manifest, but to feel good. Visualize because thinking about your desire makes you feel good and not because you’re going to manifest it!
Doing processes that weren’t in alignment with YOU – Everyone is different… some people don’t enjoy meditating. Some people don’t like affirmations. By paying attention to your feelings, you should be able to determine whether something is right or not for you. When you think about the prospect of meditating every day, does it feel good, or not so good? Maybe you don’t feel anything? If it doesn’t feel good to you, then its not the right thing for you to do.
Maybe making a gratitude diary every morning would be a better process, or even producing a vision board. If you’re a painter, then paint your desires. If you’re a writer, write stories about your desires. Do what turns you on and makes you feel good, that is what will yield your desires.
Asking “where’s my stuff?” - Everyone at some point or another has done this. Me included. Whenever you ask where is your stuff, you immediately put yourself further apart from receiving it since you give your attention to not having it. Thinking about not having it, only creates more not having it.
Giving your attention to unwanted circumstances – When you give your attention to “real life”, you’re going to be giving your attention to things that please you and don’t please you. Your job is to focus your attention as much as possible on the things that do please you. By doing so, you’ll automatically become more aligned with your desires.
Follow your heart and follow your feelings. Make your decisions with your feelings and not with your mind. If it feels good, move towards it. If it feels bad, step away.
The reason I’ve written this case study post is because I’ve thought many of these thoughts before myself. I’ve been in positions where I felt I “needed” manifestations to happen, and they didn’t manifest. I’ve made tons of mistakes too and it took me a long time before I became any good at becoming a deliberate creator.
The above are just a few common problems myself and others have experienced along our journey. Hopefully you can relate to some of them and prevent them from happening again in your own manifestation journey.
