Mind Reality

One “secret” I’ve discovered to helping you become a deliberate creator is to ensure that you have your daily dose of feel good and also your daily dose of profound wisdom.

One of my friends, Dr. Tim Ong, has a book of positive phrases, suggestions and advice next to his bed so that its the first thing he reads in the morning. That helps him to start the day off feeling positive.

Personally, I like to meditate or do a feel good process because that helps me start my day off feeling great.

My point is, that deliberate creators all have ways in which they can get there daily dose of “feel good” and wisdom.

Here’s another way to describe this better…

If you’re running a bath and you want it to be nice and hot, you need to keep putting in hot water. The bath will not heat itself, it needs the input to be hot water. It’s the same with becoming a deliberate creator… you can’t watch TV programs all day that make you feel miserable and expect to manifest glorious experiences.

You need to continuously input positive things into your life. The more you do this, the easier your manifestations will be, since you’re already in alignment with them.

A friend of mine, Enoch Tan, has recently launched his own membership site which provides a consistent source of positive profound wisdom. I’ve just joined as a member myself, and am very impressed with the amount of content available. If you like written content, his site is perfect for you.

I Create Power Review

My friend, Christopher Westra, has been doing an incredible job over at his I Create Power membership site lately. So much so that I wanted to do a write up on his site so you can see the benefits of becoming a member yourself.

As you can see, next to each bit of information you get to see what format the lesson is delivered in. So in lesson 1 above, you can see that there’s an article, a wiki (a wiki is an online resource that allows people like you and me to add/remove content), a PDF document and a video!

No matter what your preferred method of learning is, you will most certainly be engaged when going through the interactive courses. And as I mentioned earlier, Christopher also gives you full access to his I Create Reality book and audio which you can partially see in the snapshot above (a $35 value).

Christopher has been hard at work creating content for his members. My own personal favorite part of his site are the videos and presentations. Personally, I prefer to learn via audio and video rather than reading articles, but I like the fact that I can choose how I want to learn.

As this site is pretty new, all of the courses are not yet complete. There is still lot’s to add to fill out all of the main core courses in this site. However, at the time of writing, there is content in every course that’s available.

It’s just there is more available in course 1 and 2 because they are first in line. Over the next few weeks and months I have no doubt in my mind that Christopher will continue to pack out the other courses too with incredible content.

Just the other week I was thinking to myself… “so what’s going to happen when all of the courses are finished?”. I very quickly realized that the courses will never be finished because I can see how new information and new resources can be added continuously.

It doesn’t stop there though… because Christopher has introduced the sixth course that’s being added to the site which is “Course 6 - How to Design and Publish on Your Websites”. Maybe that seems like a funny course to add to a holographic creation membership site, yet it’s not because of the incredible bonus that Christopher gives all members…

You Can Heal Your Life

You’ve probably had some emails in the past month or so about Louise Hay’s new movie… You Can Heal Your Life.

I watched this movie yesterday without having any real expectations about it and I thought it was brilliant! I actually felt it to be better than “The Secret” in many ways, even though both movies are quite different.

For those who are not familiar with Louise Hay and her life journey, you’ll discover that she lived a very dark past with many incredible adversities which she not only overcame but which helped turn her into the person she is today.

The movie is primarily based around the teachings of Louise Hay’s book “You Can Heal Your Life” and using positive reinforcement to change your reality (affirmations). I felt that everything being said in the movie was very solid and I couldn’t see a way in which the primary message could be misconstrued like it was with “The Secret”.

This in itself is a great blessing and will provide hope and change for the millions who watch the movie!

Gregg Braden shares some great stuff, and something that really stood out to me was one particular story he told… Gregg and his native friend traveled to a sacred area in which they could “pray rain”. They were in the one of the worst droughts that the area had ever seen. The native friend took off his work shoes and entered the sacred stoned circle area to pray.

After a few moments, the praying man stopped and told Gregg he was finished and ready to get something to eat. Gregg asked the man “did you pray for rain?”. He replied “No. Praying for rain would imply that rain is not here, instead I felt the feelings of rain… I felt the feeling of what it feels like rainy mud beneath my feet, I felt the smell of the rain filled air. I gave thanks and gratitude for the rain thats already happened.”

I felt that was a very significant story. I know many people struggle with what words they should use when asking for something. Using “I want” allows you to “want” something… wanting isn’t having. Praying for something is implying it is not already yours and so holding you apart from what you want.

There’s some great nuggets just like this one throughout the entire movie. It’s a wonderful and very empowering movie that I believe is a must-see! You won’t be sorry that you did… even the most advanced “spiritual” person will take something positive away from it.

I was primarily interested in the movie because of some of the other participants like Wayne Dyer, Esther & Jerry Hicks, Gregg Braden, Gay Hendricks, etc. Up until now I’ve not had much of a connection to Louise Hay and her book, but after seeing the movie I feel more of a connection to her teaching and to what she has to share.

I think my favorite part of the Belief Buster Kit is in fact the 20-minute meditation. Aine has produced a very relaxing and calming meditation that guides you into your enchanted chamber of your subconscious mind. Aine’s voice is very peaceful and the background music is very hypnotic, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it just as much as I have. This guided meditation is where you can get to work and “take out trash” so to speak and really begin forming new and more empowering beliefs about anything you desire!

It’s worth mentioning here that a belief is just a thought that you keep thinking over and over, and so you shouldn’t become deluded into thinking that you can use a guided meditation once and see amazing results.

I personally feel that using the guided meditation will give you a much greater chance of actually changing those pesky unwanted beliefs but I also feel you’ll need to repeat the meditation on a daily basis for it to have a real impact. For how long should you use it? Until you notice change! In most cases I’ve found that repeating affirmations takes up to 45 days until any tangible results can be seen… with a meditation and delving into the subconscious mind, it will probably be quicker – but don’t hold me to it!

In the meditation, Aine makes several attempts to guide you into feeling your new beliefs and the feelings associated with them. This is really important and since it’s your feelings that play a significant role in what you attract, it’s important to actually do this. Otherwise I doubt you’d see any results.

In my last post, How To Form A MasterMind Group I listed several social networking sites that can help you get started with finding the right people for your master mind alliance.

As mentioned in my previous post, PDP is an excellent website for you to begin forming your master mind alliance. However, I’ve been using to form new like-minded friends who are passionate about the same things as me.

The forum itself can be used for a huge variety of discussion topics including; new blog posts, book reviews, law of attraction and creation, business development, entrepreneurship, health & fitness, social bookmarking, buying and selling services and goods, jobs available, etc. The list is endless and I encourage you to head over to the site to see the full listing of topics available for discussion.

If you’re a website owner or if you run a blog of your own then the advantages of becoming a Senior Thought Leader really do begin to stand out. Aaron has setup a section of the site that is specifically for listing all Senior Thought Leaders website RSS feeds. Now if you’re not too familiar with RSS feeds, don’t worry as you don’t need to know what they do, but suffice it to say, Aaron will be able to list the contents of your websites blog or site RSS feed and pull the content into PDP.

What are the benefits of this? Well for starters all of your content is seen by more people and more discussion will take place on your material. To celebrate the one year anniversary of my friend’s first son’s birthday, I’ve felt inspired to write a review of his “How To Be An Expert Persuader… In 20 Days or Less” book written by Michael Lee. Michael has always been a dominant figure in the self-improvement industry and I know him as someone who is passionate about providing top quality products and information that has the ability to change lives.

My first impression when I opened this ebook was that it is not like your average online book. Most ebooks contain up to 50 pages maximum (and that includes my own creations) however it is quite evident that a lot of time and effort has gone into creating this book given the vast amount of pages.

Michael recently made a massive update to the book which took the page count up considerably. The website has been reported to have been online since 2004, so straight away you can tell the author is not about making a quick buck online.

The fact that Michael continues to add value and make special offers like the anniversary special he is running at the moment just goes to prove that Michael is a keen advocate of this subject and will continue to provide additional value to his readers. It is quite common to see digital product owners forget about their products and never update them – quite the opposite has happened here.

Writing Style
Michael’s style of writing is very conversational which really helps you to get stuck into the book. In fact if it wasn’t written in such a style that involved the reader then I doubt I would have read through the whole book myself.

Michael likes to involve you whilst you’re reading by getting you to think about what you’re learning. He offers examples where needed and gives you practical and simple methods you can take away and practice.

Every chapter is split into sub-categories which make it perfect if you like to take notes and re-visit certain sections at a later time. Every section is very well headed and easy to find.

Throughout the book you may find the odd word or two that has grammatical errors that a spell-checker wouldn’t have picked up. Things like missing an “s” from a word here and there and also there is the occasional wrong word used. Eg. Words like “lend” when what was meant to be written was “lent” etc. Overall it isn’t very noticeable as there aren’t many of these occurrences but there were a few that only a fresh pair of eyes would ever pick up on.

Content
The content that you will find in this book is second to none. I honestly haven’t come across another book on the subject of persuasion that includes such vast knowledge and helpful tips and techniques as this book does. When searching for content to critique in this book I was finding it very difficult indeed because the actual knowledge that is shared is on top of its game and impossible to find holes in.

I’ve found all of the information to be accurate and to be helpful. There really aren’t any flaws in the content as far as I can see. Michael often includes personal stories and real life examples of how he and others applied the specific techniques in this book which really helps you to understand how you can apply it within your own life.

The only drawback that I found with the content is that there may be too much information contained within this book and one could quite easily get information overload. I found it easier to read in small stages, one or two chapters at a time, so that you actually do take in what you learn.

Final Thoughts
My own personal opinion is probably quite clear. Michael has produced an excellent piece of work on the science of persuasion. The benefits of becoming a “persuasion master” as Michael puts it, really does outweigh not acquiring this priceless ability.

As an online business owner I’ve picked up a lot of techniques and tricks that are already helping my copywriting skills to bring more in more and more customers which is making my business more profitable. Something I am very appreciative of!

I’ve also already practiced a few of the techniques on my family in order to defuse what could have been stressful situations; this alone would have been worth the price of his ebook as I now have a much calmer and happy home.

I would definitely recommend that you head over to Michael’s site and make your own informed decision about whether or not the ebook is something you’d like to own. I think the testimonials on his site do speak for themselves. You will see that I’ve already left Michael a testimonial for his book stating that I think this is the updated version of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”.
