Rehashed Spiritual Wisdom
24th February 2008
Have you heard of the term… rehashed information?
Today I wanted to spend just a moment to discuss this term because I see far too many people brandishing that phrase without really giving it any thought.
When someone uses the term rehashed information what they’re saying is… “yeah, okay, I’ve heard it all before but this is just presented in a different way”. It’s usually said in a negative vibration when someone is fed up of hearing the same message over and over again.
If it were not for rehashed information, I doubt very much that you would understand what you do understand today. Your spiritual life, social life, working life … it’s all just rehashed information that you’ve picked up from somewhere.
A lot of people involved in spiritual growth may say that Bob Proctor is a leading edge spiritual guru who teaches timeless principles based around the Law of Attraction. Did Bob Proctor not learn it from Earl Nightingale and Think & Grow Rich? Is he not sharing rehashed information?
Think for a moment about all of the other teachers in “The Secret”. Are they not just teaching rehashed information that is presented in a different way to help you “get it”?
What about a spiritual teacher that you really admire? Think about them for a moment and ask yourself, are they not rehashing timeless wisdom that has been available to us for years?
I feel that the only un-hashed information that now comes to this planet is from people who can ‘channel’ the source energy and allow it to speak through them. Take Abraham-Hicks for example… they were the first to coin the phrase ‘Law of Attraction’ and now it’s been picked up by many spiritual guru’s who use it all day and every day in their own teachings (myself included).
What about Eckhart Tolle? Is he not channeling source energy with his work and presenting so called “new” information? Or is it rehashed because the Buddha has said it all before?
How about Neale Donald Walsch? When he wrote the Conversations with God books, was that not new information? Or was it re-hashed?
The truth of the matter is that rehashed information is everywhere. And I’m grateful that it is.
You’ll find yourself drawn to many different spiritual teachers as you develop yourself further and the ones you’re drawn to will be a perfect match for you in your circumstance now.
It’s always a beautiful match and an exhilarating experience when you resonate with a teacher and can quite literally feel their information as truth. If it were not for the wide buffet of spiritual teachers available, then I don’t feel that not as many people would be able to fully grasp the spiritual teachings available to us today. And for that reason alone, rehashed information is a blessing.
The next time you come across yet another piece of rehashed information, consider asking yourself the following questions…
Am I seeking something that I feel I don’t have already?
What am I seeking?
Why do I keep seeing the same message over and over again?
Is there a lesson here for me?
Why am I looking for something ‘new’?

Never Stop Asking
21st January 2008
One of the reasons I believe I’m here doing what I’m doing right now is because I never stopped asking the question “why?”. I recently edited my eBook, How to… Manifest a Miracle to include some information about this.
I used to believe that I was introduced into self-development when I first read the book, Think and Grow Rich, but at closer inspection, I realized that I never stopped asking “why?” even at a young age. It was this asking that has ultimately brought me to where I am today.
Most of my peers at school would be happy with what was being taught to them. They had no questions. They accepted it. I, on the other hand, felt different and would continue asking questions and continued to get unsatisfactory answers.
After experiencing enough pain for several additional years, I found myself continuing to ask “why?”. The universe responded to every one of my questions and now when I look back, I am thankful that I experienced what I did because it has taken me to a much better place.
Here’s a short 5-minute video about Curiosity…

Enlightenment
8th November 2007
Have you ever wondered what Enlightenment really is?
Maybe you’ve been seeking it?
Or, perhaps you believe that you will find it in the near future?
To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.
- Buddha
Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment.
- Lao Tzu

Car Sold! Law of Attraction Wins Again
28th September 2007

I recently sold off one of my BMW’s because I no longer have time to drive her. In fact, she’s been sitting in my driveway for almost 2 months without being driven! Certainly not the life I had planned for her, but my lifestyle has changed and so it was time to say goodbye.
Before I put an advert in our local papers I set some intentions of what I expected. Here’s what I wanted from this sale…
- £1500 in cash
- A quick sale and only one viewer
- A buyer who will really care for the car
After thinking about these details for just a moment, I released them to the universe. It was no longer my work and I didn’t spend another moment thinking about them.
So I went about and constructed the advert and priced it at £1850 expecting a buyer to knock me down to my desired amount. About 2 days after I had placed the ad I received a phone call from a potential buyer who wanted to come down and see it. Immediately I could feel that this was the person who not only would buy her, but would really care for her!
We arranged a viewing and the buyer did not show up. Was I disappointed? No! I carried my faith forward and said to myself things like… “this person probably got delayed” or “they must have been so busy at work that they couldn’t make it”.
I told one of my (non-LOA) friends about this situation and they spurted out “bloody time-wasters!!”. That would have been the easiest thing to have said, but I held my faith and ignored my friends comments.
The following day I get an apologetic call from this buyer who requested another meeting. Again, I agreed.
About 30 minutes before he showed up I was checking my online bank accounts and realized that there was an additional £200 bill that I had completely forgotten about. I wasn’t worried where the money was going to come from as I had plenty to cover it, but never-the-less I had just put out another request for an additional £200 from somewhere.
When this person finally showed up, I showed them the car. Immediately he had fallen in love with her as much as I did when I first laid eyes upon her bodywork!
We went for a test drive. About 2 minutes into this test drive, this young man made me an offer of £1700. My jaw dropped and I was delighted that not only had I just been offered £200 more than what I wanted but this sale occurred almost immediately. I happily agreed and we returned to complete the paperwork.
In little under 4 days I had manifested everything I wanted from this sale. I received my asking price AND made an additional £200 to cover an unexpected bill. I had found an honest buyer who I felt very comfortable selling the car to and also made a very quick sale!
It never ceases to amaze me how precise this universe is! Ask and you shall receive.

Personal Development List
24th September 2007
I’ve been tagged by Priscilla Palmer and added to the Personal Development List that is going around! Thank you Priscilla
I actually saw the list a day or so before I was tagged an subconsciously put out a request to the universe to get my blog on that list. Without any action from me I’ve been added.
Here’s the current list of hundreds of Self-Development bloggers and related sites. I’d like to continue this list by adding Andrew Grant from Money and Mind to the list.

Think & Grow Rich Study
8th July 2007
I’ve decided to make a new section on this blog which I am devoting to the study of Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This is one of the best books ever written. I discovered it when I was 19 years old and I hold this book and its timeless wisdom responsible for where I am today.
This book has been responsible for altering more lives that you can imagine. Every successful person will tell you that Think & Grow Rich is at the top of their list of books that helped them get to where they are now.
Napoleon is also the person who stated this famous line:
Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
Make sure you bookmark this blog or add it to your Google reader! Over the next few weeks we will be going through every one of the 13 time-tested principles!

The Quality of a Simple Life
6th July 2007
Every morning my postman will deliver our mail every day at the same time. He’s always on time and never late. It’s like he’s got his own routine that he adheres to and always meets his deadlines.
This morning as I was on my way out going for a morning walk, we bumped into each other and he passed me our mail. As I went out on my walk, I was left thinking about the quality of ones life.
I have high hopes and big dreams for my future. Some of the things I’d like to include in my experience are activities such as; white water rafting, canoeing, camping, bungee jumping & parachuting! I’d really love to be able to complete these activities and I will complete them as I’ve set out my intention.
Coming back to my postman … I started thinking about his life and imagining what sort of things he gets up to. Maybe he is interested in stamps? Perhaps he enjoys fixing bicycles? Or maybe he just likes to read a lot of books!
Some of the things that I was imagining for him, weren’t exactly exciting me. In fact I remember thinking to myself, “I’m glad I don’t have that life”. And it was at that moment that it hit me.
No one else can determine the amount of joy one receives in life except the receiver.
The activities that I get up to on a day-to-day basis probably don’t interest my postman and he may be thinking to himself “I’m glad I don’t have that life” as well! I don’t know how much joy he receives from the activities he gets up to, and I certainly cannot judge the quality of his experience here.
Everyone is different and that creates huge amounts of contrast. It’s that contrast that makes the world interesting and such a fun place to be! If we all liked the same thing and got along so great, it would be impossible to birth new ideas. New ideas are constantly born from the contrast we experience on a day-to-day basis. And that truly is a great thing.
You don’t have to include those things you don’t want into your experience. You turn your attention away from them.
Jesus said, “turn the other cheek”. And what I think he meant by that was, look away from what you don’t want and turn your attention to something you do want.

Like Attracts Like
3rd July 2007
Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
This is my brand new blog where I will discuss my thoughts, ramblings and breakthroughs using the Law of Attraction. So I felt a quick introduction to the Law of Attraction was necessary in case there are those of you out there who still are not aware.
The Law of Attraction, simply put:
Like attracts likes
There are many universal laws that govern the universe. The most commonly known law is the Law of Gravitation (Gravity). The Law of Attraction is the most powerful law that is available to each and every one of us.
Whatever emotions you put out to the universe, it will always reap back circumstances, people, places and events that are of a like energy. If you are feeling miserable then in that moment you are attracting more miserable circumstances. If you are feeling appreciation for something, then in that moment you will attract more things to appreciate!
When you think thoughts on one subject, like thoughts are being hurled towards you in that very moment. It is your thoughts that usually dictate what you are feeling and so every Law of Attraction practitioner will teach the art of thinking attractive thoughts.
Be careful what you spend your time thinking about - if you think the same thoughts often enough then one thing is assured … you are certain to attract more of it!
It’s a beautiful law and when you fully understand it, you wouldn’t want to live without the knowledge of it! That which is like unto itself, is drawn.
