Your Dream Life Doesn’t Exist

Everything in your experience has been created by your direct or indirect thoughts.

The scratch on the side of your car was created by you thinking about keeping the car in excellent condition whilst mixing fear into that thought.

The thief who breaks into your home targeted your home because you were a vibrational match to the thief. You had practiced thoughts that were in alignment with the thief stealing from you.

The debt collectors knocking at your door were manifested out of a fear and worry of paying your bills with little money.

You create it all. You do not need to think of the specific thing in order for it to manifest. You get what you put out… so if you put out negative emotions, you’re going to get negative circumstances. If you put out positive emotions, you’re going to get positive circumstances.

The depressed remain depressed for long periods of time because they put out thoughts and emotions of feeling miserable and unhappy. They continually bring themselves down by focusing on the negative aspects which only keeps them depressed.

All of the above is just “what is”. Who really cares if you’ve manifested a scratch on the side of the car? Obviously you do… but things happen, life goes on. Does it really matter if you attracted the thief to break into your home? Does it really matter if you’ve been depressed for several years?

No.

No one is perfect. No “guru” will ever manifest perfect situations all of the time. The perfect life where nothing bad ever happens is imaginary and can not exist for you or anyone else. Why? Because you’re continually coming up with new desires and you can’t help it!

As soon as you achieve one goal, you will be in a new standing point and cannot help but have new desires from where you are now. This new standing point will be full of contrast and will be the birthing place of your new desires. If you manifest $100,000 you’ll soon be wanting more and more. $500,000 may be your next goal - this cycle will continue forever until you make peace with where you are right now.

Instead of “being happy with what you’ve got”, make peace with life and allow it to give you good and bad hands. Don’t look at it as either as good or bad, but instead look at them as “what is”. “That’s just what is” … “That’s just this situation right now”.

You can manifest things that you want, but it won’t give you sustained happiness. That dream life where money flies through the window and nothing unwanted ever happens will never exist. The sooner you realize it the sooner you will make peace with your current situation.

Take a look at the so called “gurus” and what they’re getting up to. Joe Vitale from “The Secret” manifested a robbery in his last trip to Hollywood. Louise Hay, founder of Hay House manifested cancer and overcome it. Cathy Goodman (who also starred in “The Secret”) overcame breast cancer and has now unfortunately re-manifested it.

You CAN have what you want, but it very rarely will work out the way you wanted it to. Maybe you wanted a new promotion at your work, but instead you got offered a job promotion in a different town, city or state.

By working WITH life instead of against it, you will experience fulfillment without the need to add anything external to your situation.

You’re already perfect and so are your circumstances.

Helpful Tip to Remain Calm in Any Situation

Christmas is traditionally a time that we spend with our loved ones. As much as you love your family and friends, it is also a time when high emotions can be flying around and arguments can brew more easily.

A couple of weeks ago I made a post giving you two tips on how you can stay positive around negative people. If you missed the post, you can read it here: Two Tips To Stay Positive Around Negative People.

I wanted to continue with that post and give you another helpful tip to help you remain aligned through any tough and difficult situations that may arise this Christmas.

Life will never work out exactly as you want it to. We can use the Law of Attraction to manipulate what enters our life but we cannot control how it happens. Surprises and so called “unwanted” things will inevitably enter your life from time to time, but this shouldn’t upset you and we shouldn’t allow those unwanted events to take control of us!

Instead there is a much better way of dealing with any difficult scenario… and that is to simply let it be exactly as it is.

By releasing any emotion that you attach to an event you will undoubtedly live a much more harmonious life and will no longer be pushing against unwanted circumstances. Instead, you’ll be working with them.

So how can you “allow” any situation to be as it is?

It’s simple but will also require a little practice. Before reacting immediately to an unwanted situation, practice the following steps:

1. Do nothing. Stop in the moment just before you’re about to react and do nothing at all. Do not wait for something to happen, nor should you immerse yourself in thoughts about the situation, but instead, do nothing.

2. Breathe deeply. As you stop just before you would normally react it is good practice to begin focusing on your breaths. This will help you to take your attention away from the situation and focus solely on your breathing.

3. Feel your breathing. Become so immersed with your breathing and feel everything that you can when you breathe deeply. Feel the air inflate your lungs. Feel your abdomen expand and retract. Feel the air enter your nostrils and flow down your throat. Become immersed in the breathing.

4. Release your thoughts. Accept that something has happened and release your thoughts. When you breathe and focus solely on your breaths you will have a much greater chance of releasing your thoughts. Continue to do this until all thoughts have dispersed from your mind and allow them to leave you, even if it’s just for a few moments.

5. Decide in the Now. Once you’re feeling very calm and totally immersed in the breathing, now is the time to decide whether any action is required. Do you need to do anything? Or is it something that is out of your control? If it’s something out of your control then you can stay in the present moment with your breathing and remain there for as long as you wish. If it’s something that requires action from you then you’re now in a much better position to make a more rational decision and will no doubt make a much better decision than if you were to react immediately without having taken this time.

The above is just a quick and easy practice to help you become more present in the present moment. When you’re so immersed in the present moment and not clouded by thoughts then your decision making is far better than if you were stuck in thought and reaction.

This is an incredible life changing way to work more harmoniously with life and it is something that I highly recommend you try.

Two Tips To Stay Positive Around Negative People

Quite often I will receive an email from someone asking for advice on how they can stay positive when their friends and family members are so negative all of the time. This can be quite devastating to maintaining your own positive vibes and so I’d like to give you two tips that I use to remain positive even when there are negative people around you…

Tip #1 – Focus on the Positive Aspects
The Law of Attraction has one job and that job is to match like with like. Here’s the truth of the matter… you would not be able to have access to that negative person unless you’re practicing something that is holding you in a place that you dislike.

What I mean by this is that you’ve been practicing thinking about their negative aspects and parts of their personality that you dislike. Questions like “Why can’t they be more positive?” and “They’re always so negative around me, what can I do?” is re-affirming the vibration of something you dislike. Remember, the Law of Attraction doesn’t care what you want, its job is only to match like with like. The more you complain, the more you worry and the more attention you give to the aspects of their personality that you dislike then the more you will see it.

The way to move around this is to begin focusing on the Positive Aspects of that person. What are their personality traits that you DO like? Are they funny? Do they have a soft side to them? Maybe they are really clever and you love that side to them? Whatever it is – begin focusing on those aspects of their personality and NOT the negativity that they have once shared with you.

Grab a sheet of paper right now and make a list of everything you like about them. The more you practice focusing on their positive aspects then the less you will see of their negative aspects. The Law of Attraction will not allow you to be in the same room together if you’ve practiced holding your attention on the positive aspects of that person and they are in a negative vibration. The pair of you would be magnetically repelled from one another because you are no longer in vibrational harmony with each another.

Tip #2 – Find a Thought That Feels Better
When someone with a negative attitude shoots you down, more often than not the first thing to happen is for you to respond with some form of defense. The next thing that will happen is that you will begin mental chattering about the situation. “He shouldn’t have said that to ME!”“How dare she?”“I wish they’d just…”. It is in this moment when your vibration is being negatively affected.

No one can actually affect your vibration except for you. In this very moment when you’re involved in mental chatter your allowing the negative comments to affect you and thus you begin talking about it. Just a little bit of this and you will begin to feel pretty miserable. The next time this situation arises and you begin the mental chatter, stop where you are and begin talking to yourself out of it.

To talk yourself out of the negativity isn’t a hard thing to do, but it just requires a little bit of time and effort. The way to do it is to find a thought that feels better than the one you currently have in your mind.

Begin by asking yourself what your current focal point is. What was the last thought you had? How do you feel right now?

Let’s use an example…

“I feel miserable because he said I was wasting my time”

Now from this starting point you must find a thought that feels just a little bit better. We’re not looking for a thought like “Everything is wonderful and I love life”, you’re looking for a thought that is real and accessible to your current situation. Maybe it would be…

“I don’t think I’m wasting my time and that is what counts”

Carry on with this game. From your new starting point of “I don’t think I’m wasting my time” try and find a thought that feels a little bit better.

“But he always says things like this to me!”

The above is a thought that may come to you. But it doesn’t actually feel better than where we just were. So in the event that this happens (and it will) you must try again and poke around in your mind for something that feels better. Before long you’ll have a mental dialog similar to…

“I feel miserable because he said I was wasting my time” STARTING POINT
“I don’t think I’m wasting my time and that is what counts” BETTER
“But he always says things like this to me!” WORSE
“I actually enjoy spending my time on self-development” BETTER
“It makes me happy and I feel like I actually know this stuff is true” BETTER
“He can have his opinion and I can have mine” BETTER
“I’m okay with his comment, that’s just a reflection of where he is at” BETTER

Your internal dialog may be much longer than this in reality, but this is just an example of how you can very quickly and easily move out of a negative moment and into a positive one.

So there you have it, two ways to remain positive! Remember the key is to take action or nothing will change for you. Give yourself some quality time and begin to move away from those negative vibrations that you’ve been allowing to keep you down.

Why They Failed At Making $20k in 20 Days

Over my many years online, I’ve seen countless people start projects and end up quitting a few days later. Recently there was an Internet Marketing product released by Michael Green called ‘The 20/20 Challenge’. It created a lot of fuss amongst struggling Internet marketers because the idea behind the course is that you will generate $20,000 in just 20 days or you get your money back.

As you can imagine it pricked the curiosity of many individuals. I sat on one side line and observed their behaviors.

Many who took the challenge started blogs to document their entire process on the 20/20 challenge. I was eager to watch their progress and to see some wonderful success stories.

Do you know what happened when I checked up on these blogs about a month later?

There were NO additional posts made after the first few days of starting!

Some people simply stopped posting without any further explanations, whereas others made numerous excuses as to why they couldn’t finish the project. Some had family problems, some has money troubles, some were over-worked and some just couldn’t be bothered any more.

This got me thinking about one of my eBooks, How to… Manifest a Miracle which outlines the entire process of manifestation that I use all of the time. Are people buying my eBook and not applying the processes within? Maybe they’ve started just like those people did with the 20/20 challenge but they’ve given up shortly after?

I can’t say for certain what my readers have done with that knowledge. I have heard that it is only 5% of people will actually take ACTION on the knowledge they receive. So if 100 people buy my eBook, only 5 will actually do anything with it. That’s terrible odds!

This recent bit of research has prompted me to make today’s post. I thought I’d share with you one of the most influential processes that I’ve come across to ensure you’re always kept accountable to doing your ‘Law of Attraction work’ or any other business tasks every single day without fail.

It’s not a secret and it may not come as much of a surprise to some of you, but the tip I wanted to share with you today is all about Accountability.

When you hold YOURSELF accountable to do something, it doesn’t always work out the way you want it to. More often than not it is easy to talk yourself out of it, or give yourself plenty of breaks and time to procrastinate. After all, who’s going to complain? You can’t fire yourself!

By holding your self accountable to do something, your chances are very slim. In order for your to follow through with the goal that you’ve set yourself you’ve either got to be extremely fed up of living the opposite of what you want, or you’ve got to be so focussed on your desires that you will allow nothing (no-thing) to get in your way.

Most of us aren’t at the point of utter despair with our current circumstances and getting to the point of acquiring a burning desire to achieve a certain goal requires a lot of repetitive affirming!

However - there is always another way.

Find someone else who is in a similar mindset to your own and whom you can trust. Then make each other accountable to achieve your said goals. Set up a way to communicate to each other on a regular basis and create specific ‘check-in’ times.

For example… You may decide that you need to check in with someone twice a day to ensure that you’ve both completed your business tasks for that day. If you haven’t checked in by the designated time then you will get a ‘strike’. If you get 2 strikes then the deal collapses and its over.

If you were the one who failed then you’ve got that cloud of shame hanging over your head, and if you weren’t the one who failed then you need to find a new partner to keep up the momentum.

You’ll also want to work out a way of providing proof of completion otherwise your Ego may talk you into lying your way out of doing something.

There is something incredibly magical about doing something for someone else. Even when you really don’t feel like doing something, yet you’ve committed yourself to doing it and someone EXPECTS something from you – then the chances of your doing it are so much higher than if you hold yourself accountable.

My advice is to try it. Have you been meaning to say those affirmations twice a day, but haven’t always found the time? Have you been meaning to do visualizations for months now but you still haven’t started? What about those ‘feel good’ processes and meditations? Or maybe you’ve been meaning to complete a challenge similar to the 20/20 challenge and haven’t yet found the drive to do it?

Go and get a buddy to do it with you and hold each other accountable for completing your tasks on a daily basis. Remember – if you slip up twice, then you’re outta’ there!

I wonder how many people would have succeeded in the 20/20 challenge had they buddy’d up with someone.

Your Thoughts Don’t Manifest – Feelings Do!

Very often I’m subjected to material from self-development experts all of the opinion that in order to achieve what you want out of life, you must think it into being.

I do believe that thoughts have an important role in the manifestation process however they are not what are causing manifestation. One message that is congruent from all teachers of the Law of Attraction is that you must feel your desires.

Feel your desires? That’s not possible, right?

What I mean by this statement is that you must generate a physical feeling within you. Usually this feeling will occur in your solar plexus (the area where you’ve gotten ‘butterflies’ before) or in one of your main chakras.

Your thoughts are used as a catalyst to generate these feelings, so saying that your thoughts are not important would be completely irresponsible – because they’re like the fuel that you use to light your own little fire!

But it is those feelings that you get that have all of the manifestation power. If you haven’t exercised your feelings in a while then you may not be very receptive to having the physical sensation of your feelings. Don’t despair – with just a little effort you can get energy moving all over your body and really start to feel your desires.

The best way to do this is by meditating at least once a day for twenty to thirty minutes. Whilst in meditation you can do one of two things;

Stop thinking entirely – Your well being and the natural source is your birth right. There is no source of evil at all, there is just pure goodness in total abundance. The only reason we’ve ever experienced something unwanted is because we’ve been holding ourselves in a place that doesn’t let that goodness in! We’ve been thinking and feeling things unwanted.

When you stop thinking completely then you’re in a place of no resistance. And when you’re in a place of no resistance you will FEEL good and also everything you associate with feeling good is hurling its way towards you!

If you don’t like the idea of stopping your thoughts then you can try visualizing yourself already in possession of what it is you want. Live the experience in your mind. Create as many details around your desires as possible – and live them! What you want to be doing is monitoring your feelings whilst doing this. Does one particular visualization feel better than another? Great! You’ve just worked out what you should spend more time visualizing. Get generating as many of those awesome good feelings as you can and suck all of the emotion and energy from the visualization!

Feel the feelings as if you already have what you want and I promise that if you can get into a really good feeling place everyday and remain in a place where those thoughts are easily accessible then an abundance of EVERYTHING you’ve ever wanted will bombard your door down.

How to Stop Negative Thoughts

This morning I received an inspirational message from Rhonda Byrne, creator of the smash hit documentary, “The Secret”. I think the message is so simple, yet so incredibly powerful! As a deliberate creator, I have often caught myself saying…

  • How do I stop negative thoughts?
  • I want to stop thinking negative thoughts!
  • I know these negative thoughts are attracting more of what I don’t want

In those very moments I am attracting more of what I don’t want towards me. By focussing upon what you do want, an abundance of it will soon flood into your life!

“How do I stop my negative thoughts?” - is a question that I have been asked many times. If you have ever asked this question then you will feel such enormous relief in knowing the answer, because it is so simple. How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thoughts!

When you try to stop negative thoughts, you are focusing on what you don’t want - negative thoughts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them. The “stop” part is irrelevant - the negative thoughts are your focus. It doesn’t matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you.

The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately plant good thoughts! You plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your car, your home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day. Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say “Thank you” it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will be wiped out. Why? Because your focus is on good thoughts, and what you focus on you attract.

So don’t give any attention to negative thoughts. Don’t worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more good thoughts now.

The more good thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good. If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying “Thank you” at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into a garden of paradise. How will the garden of paradise appear? As your life!
