Visualizing For Manifestation Yields NO Results!

3rd May 2008

I’m sure you’ve seen some of the tire kickers out there crying about how the Law of Attraction doesn’t work. Maybe you’re one of them?

Well, I’m not here to convince you of anything. Only you can make and form your own beliefs. But from my own personal experience, I know the Law of Attraction works for me.

Something I learned from our good friends Abraham-Hicks is that if you spend time visualizing your desires in order for them to manifest, almost always they will never materialize.

Why?

The universe hears your vibration. Not your thoughts.

When you visualize the car, the home or more money and have the intention of only doing it because you want it to manifest it… it will almost never happen.

Think of it like this… when you visualize and get into the feeling place of your desire, but the only reason you’re doing it is because you want it to materialize, you’re sending out two different vibrations.

The one vibration is the positive good vibration that is feeling good about the car, home or more money.

The other vibration that is being sent is similar to “I don’t have what I want, so I’ll visualize to get it”.

Can you see how these two vibrations cancel each other out?

It’s like saying “I want some ice cream but there’s no where to buy it from”. So the manifestation never occurs.

Before I fully realized this myself, I had purchased an Anthony Robbins audio program called Rapid Manifestation. It’s a short meditation type audio where Anthony Robins talks you through the process of visualizing what you want and feeling as if it’s already here.

I practised that damn meditation over and over again. I was awesome at it. I would feel so blissful and was totally in alignment with the desire that I had at the time, which was to manifest a certain amount of money to pay back a friend.

But no manifestation happened.

I did that meditation for about 8 weeks, every single day. But no manifestation.

Why? Because I was visualizing and only doing it because I wanted to manifest the money needed to pay my friend back.

When I finally realized that manifestation comes because of your feelings… I started practicing feeling good for no other reason than to feel good. Sure… I could still visualize paying back my friend because that made me feel good, but what was different was I no longer had attachment to the outcome. I let go of it.

Within weeks of realizing this, the manifestation occurred and I abundantly manifested more than enough money to pay my friend back every penny.

Alignment with What You Want

28th April 2008

In a recent post, Law of Attraction 101, I gave an outline of the steps in which one must go through in order to become a deliberate creator.

Today I want to discuss the alignment stages in a little more detail as this is where most people tend to get hung up on.

As I mentioned in that recent post… there are two ways in which you can become aligned with your desires. They are:

  • Believing
  • Feeling Good

Believing
When you have massive expectation and actually begin to believe that you have what you’re asking for, in that moment you will become perfectly aligned with what it is you want and so the Law of Attraction matches like with like and ultimately yields you the stuff.

I personally feel that believing is the hardest way of getting into alignment since it requires a lot of focused attention on a specific. Of course, things happen in my own life every day simply because I believe they will happen… but deliberately changing my beliefs around things like money is no easy achievement.

So, I prefer to spend most of my own time using the second method of becoming aligned with your desires…

Feeling Good
Most newcomers to the Law of Attraction don’t think I’m serious when I tell them that all they have to do is feel good and they will manifest the stuff they want. But it really is that easy!

The Law of Attraction doesn’t hear or see your thoughts. It responds to your vibration which is primarily affected by your feelings.

If you feel good, then you’re in alignment with everything that you consider to be good. That includes more money, the cottage home or the new car.

There is a disclaimer with this. When you feel good only because you want to manifest something, the thing you want will almost never manifest. Why? Because you’re holding two contradictory vibrations.

On the one hand your vibration is “feeling good”.
And on the other hand, your vibration is “I don’t have this thing that I want”.

This clash in vibration almost always brings you more unhappiness because you’ll eventually look over your shoulder and shout “where’s my stuff?!” or “this stuff doesn’t work!”.

The solution of course should be obvious. Feel good for no other reason than to feel good. Why else wouldn’t you want to feel good all of the time?

Law of Attraction 101

26th April 2008

In order to travel from Washington to Oregon, you need a certain set of skills and tools that can help you get there. For example:

  • A car to get you there
  • Gasoline to power the car
  • Knowledge on how to operate the car
  • Maps showing you where to drive

I’m sure there are a few other essentials that I could add to that list, but you should be able to get the point I’m making which is in order to go from A to B, you need a few different things in order to successfully do the trip.

It’s exactly the same with the Law of Attraction.

If you want to manifest a button or a castle, the process is exactly the same. In order to get from A to B you have to have certain skills and tools…

Law of Attraction processes
You don’t even need a basic understanding of the Law of Attraction in order to see it yield you results. Instead, all you need to know are some processes in which you can carry out every day which will bring you alignment with what you want.

I share 11 different processes in which you can become aligned with your desires in the How to… Manifest a Miracle system. To give you a head start now though, use meditation in order to get yourself aligned with what you want.

Alignment
Alignment is positioning yourself in a place where you will receive what you’ve been asking for. There are two ways to get into alignment with your desires…

Believe the “thing” is already yours.
Feel good about anything at all.

Repetition of alignment
Maintaining the alignment with what you want is critical. Without the repetition you will be sporadic in what you manifest and what you manifest will not be deliberate, instead it will be unconscious manifestation which is what you’ve been doing for the most part of your life.

So there you have it… Law of Attraction 101.

Get some proven Law of Attraction processes to get yourself aligned with what you want and repeat the processes over and over again. Sounds too simple to some people that they won’t even try it.

Perpetual Law of Attraction Habits

23rd April 2008

What are you doing to ensure that you use the Law of Attraction to manifest things that you want?

If you’re like the majority of the population, then you’ll experience a variety of good and bad things occur in your life. Of course, it doesn’t have to be like that. You can make the majority share of your life experiences be good ones that you really enjoy.

The difference between someone who is attracting good things every “now and then” verses someone who attracts good things all of the time, is their perpetual habits.

Whether the person is an unconscious competent or they are deliberately aware of what they are doing, the person who manifests good stuff most of the time is the person who gives their attention to thoughts about what they do want.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that if you want a red Ferrari that you must think about the red Ferrari all of the time. What it means is that you must focus on things you enjoy and like about your life instead of spending time looking at the negative aspects of it.

Sure… if you want the red Ferrari and it feels great thinking about it all of the time, then by all means do that. You attract what you feel, not what you think and so if you feel good looking at a car, then that is a great thing for you to do! It will ultimately bring you more joy in your life.

In order to see real significant change in myself and to see that the Law of Attraction is bringing me positive things, I have had to create new empowering habits that ensure that I remain focused on good things most of the time.

I make a big point about creating habits and routines in my Manifest a Miracle system because it is these habits that have yielded me some beautiful life experiences and are responsible for me becoming the deliberate creator of my life.

If you’re just bumbling along attracting a mixture of both good and bad stuff then I strongly encourage you to think about creating some new empowering habits that will hold you accountable to make the Law of Attraction yield positive results into your life.

And if you’re the person who is still seeking a bit of direction and guidance on exactly what you should be doing to deliberately attract positive people, places, circumstances and events then I encourage you to review my Manifest a Miracle system which provides a clear step-by-step guide on the processes you need to adopt.

You’ve got all of the tools you need right in front of you. Stop making excuses about why you’re not living the life you deserve, and start living a life worth living.

Trusting Your Inner Guidance

17th April 2008

Throughout your day you will make hundreds of different decisions. Making the right decision has always been considered the most difficult to get right.

Instead of engaging your logical thinking mind to make the decisions, try using your inner guidance to guide you into making the correct decision.

Abraham-Hicks shared with us that we have something called an Emotional Guidance System. It is this system that you can feel when you walk into a room with “bad vibes”.

How do you know a room has “bad vibes”?

That’s your emotional guidance system in action!

The emotions that you feel are your emotional guidance system. When you feel bad, bad things are on their way. When you feel good, you’re moving towards something that will please you.

Your emotions are quite simply the best way to make accurate decisions.

Let’s say for a moment that you get offered a new job. Ask yourself, “how do I feel?”. If you feel good about it, then this job is in perfect alignment with you and you will be moving towards things that give you more pleasure and more great feelings.

On the flip side of the coin, if you don’t feel good about the new job offering, or if you don’t feel much of anything at all about it, then that job is not in alignment with what you’ve been saying you want. It will not yield you joyful and blissful situations.

Recently, I hired a virtual staff member to help me run part of my business. I had narrowed my search down to two different people. One of the candidates had far more experience than the other. It would have been far too easy for me to go with my logical thinking brain and to simply have hired the more qualified person.

Instead of using my logical brain, I followed my emotions. The candidate with the least experience actually felt much better to me. In fact, we hit it off great!

The person with most experience didn’t give me any good feelings at all. I would have described the feelings felt around this person as “neutral”. As I discussed in a recent blog post, Neutral Emotions Are Negative Emotions, so neutral can be considered the same as bad.

So, I followed my emotional guidance system and hired the less skilled employee.

And the results?

We’ve been getting on great! This new person has been putting in way more hours than I expected and is completely over-delivering. Our relationship is steadily growing and I’m feeling very optimistic about what’s ahead. All in all, I made what I consider to be a very good decision.

I’ll never know for sure what would have happened if I had of hired the other candidate. Maybe his performance would have been just as good, maybe not? Focusing on the past is not productive, so I choose not to give it my attention.

Another example of when I used my emotional guidance system recently was when I was looking over an Internet marketing forum I visit now and then… Someone has posted a new thread saying that they will take on 10 people and coach them to make $100,000 per year business. The cost? Nothing, nada, zilch.

Of course, it sounded too good to be true, but never the less, it aroused my curiosity and I read the post. Immediately I could feel that it wasn’t something that would bring me any joy what-so-ever. In fact, it made me feel pretty bad!

My logical mind on the other hand was going in over-drive…

Everyone would like a $100,000 business, why not just signup and see?
This guy wants nothing to get started! That’s nothing for $100k!
Let’s go for it!
Etc.

Instead of listening to those thoughts, I passed on the opportunity very quickly and went on to read something that was more in alignment with what I was vibrating.

The message I’m trying to convey is stop listening to that logical mind no matter what is presented in front of you. No matter how good it sounds to that logical mind. Resist the temptation and follow your feelings. Always follow your feelings.

Neutral Emotions Are Negative Emotions

15th April 2008

When you feel good, good things are being attracted to you.

When you feel bad, bad things are being attracted to you.

So, what happens when you don’t feel much of anything?

Most would think that if you don’t feel much of anything, then you’re going to attract “not much of anything”. In my experience this isn’t how it works.

If I feel completely neutral or bad, then I get things that displease me.

The only time when I get stuff that is wanted in my life is when I feel good. No exceptions.

The next time you ask yourself “how do I feel now?” and you don’t get a positive response, then you should know that you have work to do to get yourself back into alignment with what you do want.

If you look at the Emotional Guidance Scale, you’ll see that the top 7 are all considered to be “good” emotions…

1. Joy/Appreciation/Empowered/Freedom/Love
2. Passion
3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
4. Positive Expectation/Belief
5. Optimism
6. Hopefulness
7. Contentment

If you’re not feeling good, and if you think you’re feeling neutral, here are the emotions that you’re vibrating closer to…

8. Boredom
9. Pessimism
10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience

So, the next time you think you’re feeling “neutral” or “not much of anything”, poke around some more until you really do work out how you feel.

Remember, if you don’t feel good right now, then you’re not in alignment with things that you say you want. It’s as simple as that.

How Much Do You Want It?

9th April 2008

I was recently reminded by a good friend of mine about the actions one can take to help solidify beliefs.

Think about this for a moment… let’s say you want to manifest a holiday abroad…

If you’re going on holiday, what are the action steps required in order to make this a reality? Here’s a fictitious list:

  • Research best flights and prices
  • Book time off work
  • Buy sun block
  • Get a book on the location
  • Organize a baby sitter
  • Exchange some spending money

If you want to manifest your holiday then you absolutely must get into alignment with your desire. There’s two ways to do this, either feel good about anything at all, or get yourself to a place where you believe your desire will happen.

By NOT doing the tasks on the list above, you’re actually telling yourself that you do not believe you’ll experience the holiday. Whether you can afford the holiday or not, that’s not the issue.

Why else wouldn’t you do the tasks on the list above unless you didn’t completely believe that you were going on that vacation?

You may recall from the DVD “The Secret” that one of the teachers recommends you should visit a car lot if your desire is for a new car. Get behind the wheel of that dream car so that you can experience the feelings of having it.

What better way is there to get into alignment with your desires than to actually do the action steps required that lead up the manifestation!?

By doing those steps you’ll very quickly eliminate any seeds of doubt you may be carrying about experiencing it.

Go on and make your list of action steps whilst the universe yields you the “how” it will happen.

A friend of mine, Lee Ann from notesfromlalaland.com is doing just that. She is already taking the action steps required in order for her to begin living her dream life in Kona, Hawaii. She believes shes already there and her website reflects this.

I encourage you to have a think about this today and work out what you can do today to start believing your desires are already here.

The Law of Attraction And My Experience

1st April 2008

This is a guest article by blogger, Meredith Pollock from:
Life’s Journeys - http://mrp721.blogspot.com

I have only recently discovered the Law of Attraction (LOA) and had to learn from scratch on how to reprogram my thoughts, I was probably one of the most negative people you could come across and so as you can imagine one of the biggest skeptics of this whole LOA idea.

I purchased Gary Evans’ e-book “How to Manifest a Miracle” because in all truth I just wanted a miracle – I didn’t realize that I would have to put some “work” into it, that was until I read Gary’s book, and that was the changing point for me, it was a case of one Aha moment after another.

I realized sitting on my butt wasn’t going to get me anywhere, nothing was just going to fall into my lap, I had to make changes. I thought if I just thought positive thoughts then my whole life would change – boy was I wrong, just thinking positive thoughts will get you absolutely nowhere if you don’t experience the emotions that go with it. That was a difficult concept for me to grasp because initially I felt nothing due to life long depression I had suffered, I was totally numb and had no passion or desire for anything in life. But I took what I had learned in Gary’s book and applied it.

I did not want to start attracting wealth or a new car immediately but chose to focus on myself first, changing myself, learning to love myself, changing what I could change and accepting what I couldn’t change. Within the first week I felt a significant lift in my mood, I began to feel alive again, I started becoming interested in life again. Within a month my depression was gone, yes you read correctly, the depression is gone, there are still the odd days where I don’t feel the best but that is normal as it is not everyday, as I said it’s once in a while. It has only been about 3 months that I have been practicing this LOA and the changes are amazing.

But I have learned that you attract what you think about, so if you keep thinking you want something but in the back of your mind you are doubting it (that little voice that keeps saying “Yeah right like that’s gonna happen”) and you start to believe that little voice, well then you aren’t going to attract what you want but instead what you don’t want.

If you want to do something but tell yourself “I can’t do it” well then you have just defeated yourself, when that little voice comes into your thoughts saying you can’t do it, tell yourself “Yes I can and will” and you’re on your way. I believe that the Higher Power wants us to have money and to be happy, we just have to be open and follow what is put in front of us. So just put your order out to the Universe and watch and be patient as it unfolds.

One of the most important concepts for you to know and believe to create the life that you want is that there is absolutely no lack of abundance of the things that you desire, so many people think that they there is only X amount for every person and this is usually the case with money. There is so much negativity attached to the desire for more money that it is ridiculous. There is no more reason to be sorry for wanting money than to be sorry for wanting oxygen. You wouldn’t stop breathing for a while because you felt guilty for taking in more air than you should.

The truth is, that the only reason you don’t have more money, better health, or a loving relationship is because you either don’t really want them, you don’t believe you deserve them, or you aren’t allowing them in because you don’t believe they’re on their way to you. Tune your frequency to the abundance channel and your desires will come to you.

Remember we don’t need to know “how” things happen that’s not part of our job to manifest, we just need to focus on our desires and believe.

“If you’re looking for the key to the universe, I’ve got some good news and bad news. The bad news: there’s no key to the Universe. The good news: it was never locked.”
- Swami Beyondananda

I would like to take this time to thank Gary for giving me this opportunity to write this article for the Good To Feel Good blog space, it was an absolute honour and to thank each and everyone who has taken the time to read my two cents worth.

If you enjoyed this be sure to check out my blog at http://mrp721.blogspot.com it is a site that I try to update on a regular basis. I sincerely hope that this has inspired you in some way to go out and grab each opportunity presented to you with both hands. May you all be blessed in abundance.

Should You Remain Silent?

28th March 2008

Should you tell your partner, your friends and your co-workers about your spiritual beliefs?

When I first learned of the Law of Attraction, I kept insanely quiet about it and did not let on to any of my friends or family about it. I studied in silence as my inner-being was awaking to something that felt so right to me.

My immediate family do know about my spiritual beliefs and so do my closest friends, yet I don’t believe its always right to go out and tell anyone about your beliefs.

As humans we have a desire within us to share something that we believe to be “right” and “true”. What we are really seeking is validation. We want someone to agree with us and tell us we’re doing a great job and you’re on the right path. Of course, someone else’s opinion should mean nothing to you – what you think is the only opinion that counts.

Many people just aren’t ready to hear about spiritualism. There will come a time when it is a necessity, but right now the majority of people are still stuck in their habitual thinking patterns and overruled by ego.

My personal family are quite the same and are firmly rooted with their ego’s. The fact was and is, that they are just not ready for what us “Law of Attraction practitioners” know. (If you practice the LOA then I call you a practitioner.)

That’s not a bad thing, nor is it a good thing. It “just is”. I don’t try and change anyones beliefs unless they seek the change themselves.

Coming back to the point of this blog post… should you stay silent or should you let on about the spiritual side of you? I say follow your gut instinct in every instance. If you feel compelled to share and it feels right for you to do so, then do so! Even if the initial response you get is not what you were expecting, you’ve probably just planted a seed that will continue to grow for that person.

On the other hand, if it doesn’t feel right for you to say anything about it, then that is the right thing for you to do. I was like this with my family for a long period of time.

Eventually, I stepped up the courage and followed my gut instinct to share the film “The Secret” with my brother. He responded to the film just like I did when I first watched it and he felt a new awakening within. Although he hasn’t taken any action to further his development, the seeds have been planted. I’m certain that when things become too miserable for him to handle, he’ll turn to that side of him that was awoken for just a few minutes that day.

Pain and misery are responsible for so much conscious awakening that it can’t possibly be considered “bad”. Investigate all of the “gurus” and their pasts… you’ll very quickly realize that it is the pain and misery that pushed them to where they are today.
