This video makes so much sense, its so easy to get lost in the way of getting the job of our dreams, the relationship, the house, the bank account, the family and all those things we truly desire, but these words remind us in a very simple yet efficient way how to make LOA work better on or behalf, Gary said it in his audiobook “THANK” always feel grateful for what you have and for today, I always say thanks, I always smile and see the positive side of things and blessings haven’t stopped coming into my life and experience, I got a great job, my income has increased considerably, I am in a healthy relationship with the most important person in my life, Me and my daughter, so Thanks Gary for reminding us how simple it is to move towards our dreams, its a truly felt thanks away!

All the best for you all, and lets put that LOA work on our behalf!

    hello
I just want to thank you.
I really needed that today. I’ve been an avid student for about 3 years now and sometimes you unconcsiously get stuck with out even knowing it. Then you attract a video like this and think to yourself wow I can see deep down that I’m not truly allowing because I really didn’t feel satisfied. The most amazing thing is like I mentioned earlier is that I didnt even think I was dissatisfied untill I watched this video!
    Thanks
    steve

Gary, thank you! :) It was very good, to listen to this and to enter this mode, of living it. I learned at Landmark Forum’s seminar on Passion in Life, to “choose what is in my life right now exactly as it is.”

We then made a list of all things we’re upset about, in our life now. And then we were told to try and see the impact of us being upset about these things. A truly remarkable process, as it made it so obvious, that what is - is, but we can make the best of it or the worst of it.

There was one thing in my life, that I was truly upset about then, and it went so for quite a long time. I couldn’t even imagine myself accepting it, it was so unacceptable. But then I so the impact of me being upset over it, and just tried to imagine, how my life could be different if I accepted it. I saw that I would feel much easier, as I wouldn’t need to resist it all the time.

And then I imagined for a moment, that I would _choose_ it. And I suddenly felt, what fun it would be! So regardless all my being upset, I said to myself: “I’m choosing it exactly the way it is, together with all my feelings over it, with all my thoughts over it, with everything. I choose it exactly as it is in my life right now.”

It was a strange feeling, in the beginning it didn’t feel that “true”, then it felt better and better. What was important, that every time I told myself I choose it, I felt some relief. Like, all the “options” of how it “could be” at that point, all my thinking of how it “could be” and “why isn’t it so”, “what have I done wrong”, “what have I been doing wrong”, “why it is so for me”, - all that calmed down, I got the feeling that “I am where I am, that’s it, let’s see what good can be extracted from this moment exactly as it is.”

And it indeed became fun! And then I understood why at that course they told us, that “the minute you choose it as it is, everything becomes possible.” It indeed was so - as I guess I stopped so maniacally resisting what was. :) And then I felt a desire to take a list and write down how I would want it to be - before this calm sitting down was simply not available to me.

In short, it was amazing. :) And it made possible the following journey, which also was very .. satisfying. Interesting, sometimes hard, but exciting.

What I also learned on that path, was that we always think “if only not this exact problem I’m dealing with now, I would be up and rolling with all this positive stuff”. :) But the catch is to do it in exact that moment of feeling this inconvenience. Every moment just to take what is and try to find a little-little-little-little-little-little bit better thought. :)

Which brings me to the point I wanted to share with you today, that’s why I came here:

My taxi driver today was saying: “Why we people are like this?! All the teachers always say, try to see the full half of the glass, try to think about positive things, try to focus on that, and we always just find the worst things to think about!”

And I thought about it, and remembered this trick of “thinking a better thought in every moment, not waiting for a more appropriate moment”, and suddenly it downed on me:

WHAT IF IT’S JUST SUPPOSED TO BE SO?

Meaning, the good things - we already got into alignment with them. And then our minds bring us the parts we are NOT in alignment with, TO GIVE US A CHANCE TO DO SOMETHING WITH IT. Meaning - feel what you feel, think what you think, if it is good - just keep milking it for wonderful experience, and if it’s bad - try to find a slightly better thought.

This way we can never again resist what we think, just take it as some kind of guidance, kind of “daily lesson” or better - “daily fun portion”.

What do you think? :) Your video truly added to this my thinking.

With the video, I’m so enjoying this one:

I recorded it with Audacity and made an mp3, and am listening and listening to it, it’s wonderful.

Create a great day, as you say it :))
    Thank you for everything :)
    Olga.

thanks so much gary for your help in my journey of remembering what it is to feel good and not fight the world,
once again i had forgotten what i had just started remembering. what does one do, when you are doing really great , feeling good and everything and then suddenly without even knowing when or how, one starts relapsing into this addiction as it where of being miserable and unhappy with how things are? one forgets to feel good. or is it that one likes feeling bad?
what to do when you have a tendancy to do that and you know it? how to stop the relapse?
