Veritable Fortune

24th August 2008

If you’ve ever made a statement with similar sarcasm as the person in this video clip, maybe you should give it a second thought before you do it again! Speaking from a place of not having what you want, gets you more of not having what you want.

Joy of the Journey

20th August 2008

Struggle can never lead to a happy ending. Feeling excited and happy when making decisions will always lead you down the easiest path.

The journey is where you will find the joy of your desire, not in the acquisition or materialization of the desire itself.

Try it and see for yourself. The excitement from living a desire, is very short lived. However the journey in which you take to get there can be so delicious.

More often than not, we’re told stories of hardship and how struggling hard is how success is attained. If you examine closer all of those people who have achieved something that they set their minds too, you’ll quickly see that in the most part, the journey they took was fun, exciting and brought them more joy - it wasn’t hard at all.

The truth is, those who struggle and strain aren’t achieving what they want. It is energetically impossible. The more struggle and strain, the more they create what they don’t want.

For many years, I struggled trying to earn more money and trying to live a better life. All of that struggle and hardship got me into a worse off position. Without my deliberate intent, I was creating more of what I didn’t want every time I found myself struggling to lead a more fulfilled life.

What I’ve come to realize is that living a life where things that I want to show up is no more difficult than breathing. As we breath air, there is no resistance to where the air is coming from or whether there is enough of it for everyone.

With our breathing we simply allow whatever air there is to flow in and out of our lungs without a second thought. Creating with deliberate intent is much the same… when you allow without worry or fear, what you want shows up. Period.

I’ve been deliberately designing my own joyous life now for the past 4 or 5 years. There’s been some ups and some downs, but the more I practice deliberate creation, the easier it becomes.

I now run my own successful Internet based business that allows me to live wherever I please. I’m moving to beautiful Costa Rica next week and have never felt so much joy in all of my life. The journey I’ve been on to create these things is simply wonderful and has been nothing short of a joyous journey.

I wish the same for you. Keep your ideal in mind, and allow it into your experience by feeling good. It is that simple.

Napoleon Hill’s Hidden Secret Revealed

13th August 2008

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while now, then you probably know that I did a Think & Grow Rich study on this blog last year and posted up my thoughts on each chapter.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, have a gander over at the right-hand side bar and look for where it says “Think and Grow Rich Study”.

Recently I’ve connected with a fellow Brit, Gary Vurnum, and he’s produced an excellent free report on what the “secret” actually is that was never written in Think and Grow Rich. I found it most interesting and I think you may do too. (Especially if you’re a Napoleon Hill fan!)

“IN EVERY chapter of this book, mention has been made of the money-making secret which has made fortunes for more than five hundred exceedingly wealthy men whom I have carefully analyzed over a long period of years.”

“The secret to which I refer has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred times, throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where THOSE WHO ARE READY, and SEARCHING FOR IT, may pick it up. That is why Mr. Carnegie tossed it to me so quietly, without giving me its specific name.

If you are READY to put it to use, you will recognize this secret at least once in every chapter. I wish I might feel privileged to tell you how you will know if you are ready, but that would deprive you of much of the benefit you will receive when you make the discovery in your own way.”

  • Want to know what this secret is?
  • Think you know it, but you want validation?

Money and the Law of Attraction

12th August 2008

This is just a quick heads up about Abraham Hicks’ new book being released today… Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness

I’ve been eagerly awaiting this new book, since we’ve been getting a few excerpts in the daily quote emails for the last month or so. From what I’ve read, this is going to be a fantastic book to have.

Here’s the first Amazon review that’s been posted up…

This is the best book Esther and Jerry Hicks have produced with Abraham to date. I didn’t think any book could surpass their classic Ask & It Is Given but this one does. It is a brilliant sharing of Abraham’s message.

This book gives clear, detailed instructions for creating the life you want. It teaches skills that can be applied to any aspect of your life. If there is an area you would like to improve, you will know by the time you are finished reading how to create that change.

What’s new? Some of the most popular topics asked at Abraham-Hicks workshops are covered here in depth, including money and financial abundance, physical well-being, health and body size, and career. Readers get their most expansive perspective of Jerry to date, which is a joy. Strong emphasis is placed on the powerful tool of pivoting to a better-thinking, better-feeling place.

If you could buy only one book on the Law of Attraction, this is it. If you want a happier, more fulfilling, abundant, healthy and fun life, start here.

HayHouse is running a special promo for this book, so if you do pick up a copy, fill out the form on this page and you’ll get loads of free gifts and also a chance at winning some cool prizes too.

I Don’t Know What I Want!

11th August 2008

I’ve had several emails from friends who ask me what they should do when they don’t know what to manifest. They don’t know exactly what it is they are wanting from life.

This is actually quite a common question that many people have.

Here’s my recommendation for you…

Think about and say the following statement:

“I would like to attract life experiences that give me the clarity to know what I am wanting to manifest.”

And that’s it. The Law of Attraction will quickly go to work!

The Law of Attraction is working in every second of every minute whether you realize it or not. By asking for clarity on what it is that you want to manifest in your life, you will attract those experiences that will help you to understand.

Let the thought go and now allow it into your experience by feeling good.

You’ll quickly receive life experiences or inspired thoughts on what or where you should go in order to gain the clarity you desire.

Everything You Want Is Two Topics

8th August 2008

Whatever you give your attention to will create.

You’ve heard this before, right?

So…

If you give your attention to good health, you’ll attract good health.

If you give your attention to cancer, you’ll attract cancer.

If you give your attention to money, you’ll attract money.

If you give your attention to debt, you’ll attract debt.

But why don’t you receive money when you give your attention to debt? After all, when you give your attention to debt, you’re also giving your attention to money. So why doesn’t money show up?

Everything that you want has two aspects of it that you can focus on. If we take money for example…

  • There is the lack of money.
  • And there is the having of money.

It’s the same with anything that you want. There is either having it, or not having it. The Law of Attraction yields to you the things that you want when you focus on the having of it, and not on the lack of it.

If you focus on the lack of money, you’re going to see more debt.

Even debt has two aspects to it. There is the having of debt, and there is the lack of it. Giving your attention to the lack of debt is a good thing if you no longer want debt.

So how would you give your attention to the lack of debt? Think about having money!

For some people saying the words “I am debt free” will make them feel uncomfortable. It will remind them of debt and cause negative emotion inside of them.

One of my first deliberate money manifestations occurred because I kept my attention on becoming debt free. I would imagine what it was like to be debt free and to have no money worries. That made me feel absolutely great and so I manifested what I wanted.

Some people would advise against using the word “debt” because they would say you’re giving your attention to debt. My personal experience has been different. When I feel great about being debt free, I attract it! The words have little power for me. It’s the way I feel about it that makes all the difference.

Everyone is different though and you should always follow what your feelings are telling you. If using the phrase “I am debt free” makes you uncomfortable, then it definitely is not the right phrase for you. Something like “I have an abundance of money” may be more appropriate.

You Are Always Creating

5th August 2008

In every minute of every day, you are offering a vibration. This means that you are creating all of the time!

When you think a thought… you’re creating.
When you speak a word… you’re creating.
When you take an action… you’re creating.

When I first understood this, I felt as if I should be really careful about the words that come out of my mouth and pay strict attention to my thoughts. After all, I didn’t want to create something unwanted. I’m sure you don’t either.

The problem with trying to monitor our thoughts is that we have so many of them! It would be a mammoth task to monitor every single thought that you think.

That is why its better for us to gradually change our mindset and start forming new, empowering habits that do serve us.

One habit that I’ve formed is the ability to change my focus when I notice I’m feeling not so good. By paying attention to my feelings, I’m able to quickly change what I’m giving my attention to and start focusing on something that doesn’t bring me that negative emotion.

You can do this too. The first step is to start paying attention to the way you feel. Start catching those smaller negative emotions like boredom, frustration and disappointment and immediately give your attention to something that does please you.

By simply doing this one action whenever you notice negative emotion, you’re going to be making massive headway with all of the things you want to manifest.
