Is $100 Million Too Far Out of Reach?
11th July 2007
The 6 practical steps outlined earlier on describe clearly how you can go about acquiring money consciousness. I haven’t met a deliberate creator yet who doesn’t desire money. You shouldn’t look at wanting money as a bad thing either. Life is abundant and there is more than enough for everyone, you should want to skip across life tasting only the very best life has to offer you. Don’t settle for anything less!
Andrew Carnegie taught Napoleon those 6 practical steps which should never be underestimated. Andrew began as a laborer in the steel mills and went on to use these exact same principles to yield him a fortune of more than 100 million dollars. This great amass of wealth was mostly founded in the 1800’s which just goes to prove the sheer power of the teachings.
The steps call for no “hard labor.” They call for no “sacrifice.” They do not require one to become ridiculous or unthinking. To apply them calls for no great amount of education. But the successful completion of these six actions does call for sufficient imagination to enable one to see, and to understand, that accumulation of money cannot be left to chance, good fortune, and luck. One must realize that all who have accumulated great fortunes first did a certain amount of dreaming, hoping, wishing, DESIRING and PLANNING before they acquired money.
Napoleon goes on to mention that you will not create any great amount of wealth unless you can get yourself into a frenzy of desire and actually BELIEVE you will possess it!
In one of my successful ebooks, “Believing Is Receiving“, I speak about believing being the key attracting factor that will yield to you whatever it is that you desire. In fact without a belief that you can first attain something, you will never ever have it. So how do you REALLY believe something as true when you “know” it isn’t?
For me, visualization and meditation are the best ways that I can focus my mind on something that I want. The belief element will eventually come to you after you have spent enough time focusing on what it is that you want. This is the hard part that a lot of people often fail at doing.
Try visualizing in your mind exactly what it would feel like having that money, the car or the relationship. The more you practice doing this, the more you will believe that you can actually have it. As soon as you truly believe without a shadow of a doubt that this is yours and that you will acquire it - that is when the universe will yield to you in great quantities.
1When riches begin to come, they come so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years.

Burning Desire To Succeed
10th July 2007
The stories that are shared in Chapter 1 - Desire demonstrates how a burning desire to succeed is the most influential factor to your success. Napoleon documents one great story that stood out in my mind.
A warrior once made a decision which ensured his success on the battlefield. He was about to send his armies against an enemy who out numbered his own. Instead of retreating and logically analyzing the situation, the warrior ordered his men to fight and loaded his soldiers and their equipment onto boats and sailed to his enemies country.
Upon arrival, he then gave the order to burn the ships that carried them and said to his men “You see the boats going up in smoke. That means we cannot leave these shores alive unless we win! We now have no choice. We win - or we perish!”
The army of men won.
This story highlights how burning all bridges behind you and forcing yourself into a situation where success is your only option - can bring out the very best in you. This is the level of desire Napoleon wanted to convey to us. You must be willing to burn all bridges behind you and do anything and everything to reach your goal. Once you do reach this point, success is assured.
I think the chapter Desire was placed at the very beginning of the book because of its sheer power. Desire is at the root of everything we do. You do not breathe on this planet unless you have a desire to live. You are continually coming up with new desires every single day of your existence; it is why the world keeps moving and why we continue to create new and greater things. As you live more and more contrast, more and more desires are born within you.
The real question is, what are you willing to do for those desires? And if you aren’t willing to burn all bridges behind you then are they really desires? Or are they only wishes?
3Those who would win in any undertaking must be willing to burn their ships and cut all sources of retreat. Only by so doing can one be sure of maintaining that state of mind known as a BURNING DESIRE TO WIN, essential to success.

The Starting Point of All Achievement
8th July 2007
A burning desire to be and to do is the starting point from which the dreamer must take off. Dreams are not born of indifference, laziness, or lack of ambition.
In this chapter “Desire”, Napoleon hammers home the importance of a BURNING DESIRE. Having unwavering confidence that you will achieve your desired outcome is the most important step you must take in order to succeed. Napoleon starts off this chapter by talking about countless stories where desire alone brought great riches to countless men including his own son, Blair.
Wishing does not bring you riches! Wishing brings you wishes. Your dreams do at first, start out as a wish. After spending some time obsessing with you’re own desire it will become a burning desire. A burning desire transmutes into confidence and belief of having already attained your desire. Therefore desire is the starting block for your attainment of anything you can desire.
The method by which DESIRE for riches can be transmuted into its financial equivalent consists of six definite, practical actions:
1. Decide how much you want. Be definite about the amount that you desire and hold this figure in your mind. You cannot say “I want more money”, you MUST be definite.
2. Determine what you intend to giveback in return for the money. There is no such reality as “something for nothing”.
3. Decide on a definite date by which you will have achieved your desired amount of money.
4. Create a definite plan of action that you will adhere to in order to carry out your desire. You must begin this plan at once, whether you feel ready or not.
5. Write out a clear statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, by when you desire to have attained it, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly your plan for attainment.
6. Read your written plan aloud, twice a day. Once in the morning after you wake up, and once in the evening before you go to sleep. As you read, SEE, FEEL and BELIEVE yourself already in possession of the money.

Think & Grow Rich Study
8th July 2007
I’ve decided to make a new section on this blog which I am devoting to the study of Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This is one of the best books ever written. I discovered it when I was 19 years old and I hold this book and its timeless wisdom responsible for where I am today.
This book has been responsible for altering more lives that you can imagine. Every successful person will tell you that Think & Grow Rich is at the top of their list of books that helped them get to where they are now.
Napoleon is also the person who stated this famous line:
Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
Make sure you bookmark this blog or add it to your Google reader! Over the next few weeks we will be going through every one of the 13 time-tested principles!

The Quality of a Simple Life
6th July 2007
Every morning my postman will deliver our mail every day at the same time. He’s always on time and never late. It’s like he’s got his own routine that he adheres to and always meets his deadlines.
This morning as I was on my way out going for a morning walk, we bumped into each other and he passed me our mail. As I went out on my walk, I was left thinking about the quality of ones life.
I have high hopes and big dreams for my future. Some of the things I’d like to include in my experience are activities such as; white water rafting, canoeing, camping, bungee jumping & parachuting! I’d really love to be able to complete these activities and I will complete them as I’ve set out my intention.
Coming back to my postman … I started thinking about his life and imagining what sort of things he gets up to. Maybe he is interested in stamps? Perhaps he enjoys fixing bicycles? Or maybe he just likes to read a lot of books!
Some of the things that I was imagining for him, weren’t exactly exciting me. In fact I remember thinking to myself, “I’m glad I don’t have that life”. And it was at that moment that it hit me.
No one else can determine the amount of joy one receives in life except the receiver.
The activities that I get up to on a day-to-day basis probably don’t interest my postman and he may be thinking to himself “I’m glad I don’t have that life” as well! I don’t know how much joy he receives from the activities he gets up to, and I certainly cannot judge the quality of his experience here.
Everyone is different and that creates huge amounts of contrast. It’s that contrast that makes the world interesting and such a fun place to be! If we all liked the same thing and got along so great, it would be impossible to birth new ideas. New ideas are constantly born from the contrast we experience on a day-to-day basis. And that truly is a great thing.
You don’t have to include those things you don’t want into your experience. You turn your attention away from them.
Jesus said, “turn the other cheek”. And what I think he meant by that was, look away from what you don’t want and turn your attention to something you do want.

Just Do It!
5th July 2007
All successful people keep telling you to do it, countless books have been written about it and NIKE has it as their slogan!
Just Do It!
Far too often in life, we get fired up about a brand new idea that feels so good and then at the last moment, self-talk kicks in and prevents you from taking any action at all. I’ve experienced it numerous times, and when looking back now if I had of just ‘Done It!’ then I am certain my life would be entirely different than it is today.
Your feelings inside of you are always telling you whether what you are thinking about is a match and will bring you more joy and happiness. I advise you take a breath once in a while and start listening to what you’re already telling yourself in your feelings.
If you’ve read and studied the classic book Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, then you will know that his book documents a clear and concise action plan to achieve your dreams and desires. Napoleon proves that some form of action is required in order to manifest. There are two different types of action;
The first type is what I call physical action which is the kind of action we are all used to taking. If you decide you need some more bread and milk in your home then you would take physical action to resolve the situation by going to a supermarket or corner shop and purchasing more.
The other type of action is non-physical action which can be likened to mind-work. The non-physical action is the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Getting your self into resonance with what you say you’ve been wanting. For example, you could be spending some time looking at a vision board and getting into the vibration of already having your desires.
Both types of action are crucial. The differentiating factor between the two is that the physical action will be totally inspired, and most often you won’t even be aware that your taking action to achieve your dreams! When you have reached a place of feeling as if you already have your desires, then and only then, doors will open and continue to open for you until you walk through one of those doors leading to your desires.
It is impossible for you to fail, doors will continue to open for as long as you are in the vibrational harmony with what you’ve been wanting. You don’t just get one shot at it! If at first you don’t see the opportunity staring at you then more and more opportunities of a similar nature will continually be presented, until you finally do walk through that door using inspired action.
And that really does take the pressure off of you!
It tells you that the physical action doesn’t have much weight in the manifestation process at all. And that if you can get into alignment with what you want through non-physical action, so then the physical action can come at any time for you. Your work isn’t the physical action trying to make something happen. Your work is to get into alignment with what you want, to feel as good as possible and let as much of it in as you possibly can!
Over the next few weeks I will describe the easiest and most practical ways that you can achieve resonance with your desires through non-physical action.

Like Attracts Like
3rd July 2007
Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
This is my brand new blog where I will discuss my thoughts, ramblings and breakthroughs using the Law of Attraction. So I felt a quick introduction to the Law of Attraction was necessary in case there are those of you out there who still are not aware.
The Law of Attraction, simply put:
Like attracts likes
There are many universal laws that govern the universe. The most commonly known law is the Law of Gravitation (Gravity). The Law of Attraction is the most powerful law that is available to each and every one of us.
Whatever emotions you put out to the universe, it will always reap back circumstances, people, places and events that are of a like energy. If you are feeling miserable then in that moment you are attracting more miserable circumstances. If you are feeling appreciation for something, then in that moment you will attract more things to appreciate!
When you think thoughts on one subject, like thoughts are being hurled towards you in that very moment. It is your thoughts that usually dictate what you are feeling and so every Law of Attraction practitioner will teach the art of thinking attractive thoughts.
Be careful what you spend your time thinking about - if you think the same thoughts often enough then one thing is assured … you are certain to attract more of it!
It’s a beautiful law and when you fully understand it, you wouldn’t want to live without the knowledge of it! That which is like unto itself, is drawn.
